Despite the luxury taxes Dr. Jerry Buss will end up paying to keep this team together, I think he will. You definitely get the feeling from him that he places the Lakers persona/mystique above anything else.
That and the Lakers enjoy being the crown jewel in the second largest market in the U.S, he'll do ok.

It seemed like Shannon got one of the loudest ovations which was really cool, with all the talk about getting Lamar and Trevor back i'd like to see Shannon groomed to be our starting PG. Imagine our perimeter D with Shannon, Kobe and Trevor and Pau and Bynum anchoring the paint.

100,000 is all that the Coliseum can fit. Well that's all they allowed because they closed some sections off but 114k is maximum capacity. But it was said by one of the broadcast announcers that there was another 56k along the streets.
Kobe of course got the biggest ovation, but the crowd dished out love to all of them. Even Sun Yue, and yes, even Sasha.
