Been a while.Internet issues.
Anyways, I don't particularly like the Magic picking up Carter. He's a bit of a ball hog and he takes a lot of shots; hence why he averages around 20 points a game. He's also injury prone and his infamous reputation precedes himself. The up side, Otis and Ron Jeremy are no non-sense kinda guys. Along with already having vets like Lewis and Nelson (Nelson being not so much a vet as he is mature and a natural leader), I think that Carter will be a contributor instead of an a issue, in that regard at least. And credit due, he has been a team player since he came to the Nets and hopefully that will carry on to Orlando.
I hope he'll be an asset. That guy who can close out the fourth and spread out the offense. It's what the Magic are missing. And with Nelson healthy and sharp, they could be very dangerous once again. But I've my doubts. He's old and he hasn't been half man, half amazing since Toronto. Here's hoping.
That being said, it's a bummer for Orlando to lose Hedo. He's not an all-star, but he was and is still quite good and his specific stature made him unique and thus valuable. He'll be missed.
Losing Alston was necessary. Not that I, among most, aren't grateful. It would've been awesome if the Magic could've worked something out but, you can't always bake your cake and eat it too, as they say.
And the Magic just picked up a decent and young PG in C.J. Watson from the Warriors. He's efficient and will be a much better back up to Nelson as oppose to A.J.
The Magic also acquired SF, Matt Barnes from the Suns. Which is great, imo. He's solid. High energy, a match-up problem and a dedicated player.
The Magic have also been investing in PF's apparently...
Got Brandon Bass from the Mavs, which surprised me. He's been a solid back up PF. And they got Ryan Anderson from NJ.
I'm reserving judgment only because he's a rookie. But my friends say he'll be good. *shrug* I hope so.And they kept the Warlock. 🙂
Otis Smith has made some moves. Don't see Vince passing the ball when the game is on the line
The key factor IMO for u guys is if Dwight is dedicated to improving his game. U can't score all the time on dunks
On a side note, good friend.....I read ur other posts about the moves
Odom is still in limbo. And that's so ******* sad. Hopefully, he resigns with the Lakers

Guy, did you...did you just curse?
*I hope Carter doesn't pass the ball with the game on the line if they're up in Toronto, he's money up there.
If you want to see the video of Lebron getting dunked on here it is...

Exactly what I mean about Vince taking too many shots. Though he is the kinda guy that can make that big shot in the fourth.
I know he'll fit in. He lives in Orlando, so I don't worry about him creating rifts too much. He was a team player in Jersey and he's more mature. I know he wants a ring.
Still, until he proves me wrong about the latter, I'm not liking this move too much.
And I've no doubts that Dwight will improve. How much, I dunno. He really needs to create a mid-range game. He needs a jump shot and he needs to learn to make free-throws.
With Odom, the Lakers are over the cap or close to it, so him asking for more doesn't help, then again, he's got a ring now, so I can see why he'd want to pursue more money. He's always been a great player and he would be a real asset to any team. If the Lakers and him come to terms that end up with him still in a Lakers jersey, honestly, I'd be surprised.
Can't say as I want to see him stay with the Lakers anyways, just because they have so many weapons as it is.
The media is talking about him and Boozer being big possible pick ups, esp. Miami, who could really use either.
And I believe that's only the second time I've seen you swear. 😂

Lolz. I don't know what is funnier, the big deal that was made from it or how mundane the dunk was.
Won't shake hands, afraid of being embarrassed, some king.
Originally posted by MythIts not a bad contract, but...I think the Blazers could ahve used their cap space better than that. Like you said, he's not as good of a fit as Hinrich would have been.
Blazers likely getting Andre Miller. 3 years at $7M per year (3rd year is a team option) seems like a good deal to me. He isn't a great fit, but it should still improve our PG rotation from last year, and that cost is nowhere near as bad as giving Turk a 5 year/$50M deal IMO.
We don't know for sure. ***** move on both parts though.
Here's a hot new Kobe mix for anyone interested!

If you don't know and Nike publicly said they did for reasons according to company guidelines than it could be the case that Lebron James had nothing to do with it.
It's speculation.
Originally posted by guy222They can't sign another player. They've already used their MLE on Artest. The only reason why they can sign Odom while being over the cap is because they have his bird rights. If anything, I think the Lakers should probably do a sign-and-trade, at least then they won't lose him for nothing.
Lakers fans don't look goodYahoo is reporting Lamar wants to play for Miami
David Lee, Hakim Warrick are available
The Lakers should sign another player. And Andrew Bynum, it will be ur time to shine
Edit: Hakim Warrick you might be able to get for the LLE or vet min, but deffinitely not David Lee.
