It isn't perfect, but I mantain it was the best overall choice of the four listed options.....by alot. It would be a good mix of "legacy" and potential championship sucess.

Miami Pros
*Can't see any team shutting down both LeBron and Wade.
*Bosh is a top 10-15 player in the league.

Miami Cons
*Miami doesn't have 5 players on its roster as of now.
*Technically, even though LeBron is the best player on the roster(Wade is top 3 in the league), it's still Wade's team.
*Both Wade and LeBron are alpha males and LeBron is gonna want MVP's, scoring titles, etc. down the line.
*LeBron's legacy has taken a hit the most it could out of all the choices he could have made. He had to resort to forming a superteam. Garnett won a ring, but will never be mentioned as one of the greatest.
*LeBron didn't stay in Cleveland.

Chicago Pros
*LeBron is the best player on the team. He left, granted, but it'd definately be his team for sure.
*Chicago atleast has a starting 5(and a damn good one at that).
*Derrick Rose has yet to peak. Wade on the other hand has.
*LeBron would still likely win MVP's, and have a legitimate shot at scoring titles here. Can't see this in Miami unless he finds a way to average a triple double.

Chicago Cons
*He'd have no shot at being the best Bulls player ever.
*LeBron didn't stay in Cleveland.

Again, I don't know anything about LeBron's personal life, family, money ambitions(wouldn't he make more money in Chicago?), etc. I'm striclty covering the "winning" and "legacy" parts of the discussion.

So you basically regurgitate anything BSPN throws at you?

Now when the hell have they stated any of that? I came up with those points soley yesterday afternoon.

In big games, the stars can play almost the entire game. Sans foul trouble, you don't need a deep roster. Lebron himself showed how one player can take a team to the finals. Hell, Wade did most of the work himself too in his title run. So the depth is a non-issue, imo. Miami's going to dominate.

If there's a more hilariously sh*t-luck sports city than Cleveland, I've never heard of it. Priceless stuff.

Gonna b fun to watch

Lakers need to secure Derek Fisher

Come on Mitch give the guy his due

The pressure Lebron put on himself is far greater than any he had to deal with in cleveland. He also took himself out of the greatest of all time conversation with this super team up in my book.

Jordan took his ass whoopings from the pistons and figured out how to beat them. Lebron gave up against boston imo and after 2 years of getting crushed by two different teams coming into the playoffs at the frontrunner he chose the easy way out.

If he loses they will roast him. I also feel like Wade will be the guy who gets the ball in crunch time not Lebron as he never seemed as comfortable in that role as wade.

I am waiting to see wat players they surround Bosh and crew with

Spending $300M on three stars, not much left for role players

Time will tell

I'm looking forward to seeing how miami do next year, I think they're gonna almost reach the 70 win mark. I dont like how LeBron announced this all, I feel so bad for Cleveland. Everytime Bron smiles 10 Cleveland fans are sick. True stat.

Kinda wondering how Bosh feels about going from stating how he wants to be a centrepiece, to being the third guy on a team.

Raptors have a YOUNG team, we may be exciting to watch at times, but its gonna be ugly too.

At least we aren't bandwagoners... We stand by our teams, no matter what, and we get laughed at by the media for it.

I don't care about LeBron, he's a primadonna who'll ride D. Wade's coattails harder than his mom rode Delonte West...

We in Cleveland made the mistake thinking he needed a Pippen, but all this time, he really needed a Jordan.

Yo batdude, how do you think your team's gonna do this year? Still got a decent setup there.

I think we've got a real good shot at the 6-8 seeds. If it goes the way I think it will (Miami, Orlando, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta) we'll end up at #6, maybe even 4-5 if we get Al Jefferson like is being rumored. A front court of Hickson and Jefferson could be devastating down low, especially with a coach like Byron Scott. I also think we'll end up trading for a good wing player, someone who'll make a big splash. Danny Granger might be on the market now, since the Pacers basically have a younger, cheaper version of him in Paul George. But from what I understand Anthony Morrow is now a free agent and we have $9 million in cap space since LeBrat left. He'll come cheap and bring the fire power we'll need to make a push for the post season.

Honestly, I just want someone to beat the Heat until we're good enough to do it in the playoffs (we're a few pieces away from being a contending TEAM) I actually want the Magic to win it all, which is strange because not one year ago, I wanted them to lose as bad as I wanted the Cavs to win. How things change... I'm hoping they can knock off the Miami Monopoly Brothers in the playoffs.

Yeah, its funny how heat is an anagram of hate. I think miami may play some exciting ball, its just annoyed me how this was all done. Apparantly Morrow is going the the Nets?

I think the Cavs have a good chance at the 6-8, I'm excited to see how Chicago do and whether NYC can make some moves to surround amare.... felton is a strong possibility.

Cosign.

D Fish resigns with the Lakers

woot

Haslem just left a lot of money on the table to return to the Heat. Good for him.

Mike Miller will definitely be signing with the Heat. Now the most pressing concern for the Heat is signing a starting Center. Ilgauskas would be a nice fit as he complements the big three well.

There is talk of a trade will allow the Mavs to acquire Al Jefferson from the Twolves. Nothing official but Dallas is quietly putting together a solid team.

With all these good signings, no team will be able to stop the Heat. Can you say Dynasty?

Phoenix made some deals for Hedo and Childress. Tony Allen went to Memphis. Farmar went to New Jersey.
