If you want to be there to make the picks yourself you do. Like Kool said, if you can't make it pre-rank your players in the order you'd want them to be taken if you were there. Then the computer will pick them for you. But without a doubt one of the best things about fantasy sports is the live draft. It's really a lot of fun. I hope you can make it. Once we have all the teams set, we can change the date to accommodate everybody in the league.

It's going to be a lot of fun this year. If you're a new comer don't worry we're all here to have fun and the only way to get better is to step into the fire 😛

I love watching this guy play, from what i have read in the off season he was really working hard on his outside shot and low post game. Hopefully he can recover fully and be back soon.

I personally am looking forward to the Raptors season, but im pissed they traded Rafer Alston to Houston.None the less i look forward to it representing Canada.

As far as i know there are 2 Raptor fans here. From what i've read you should be happy to get rid of Alston, you've replaced him with a solid PG who plays defense.

I too am going to miss watching Amare play. I would have rooted more for the Suns last year had he been getting more of the credit that Nash was receiving.

raptors fan here.... alston while being a decent player... was a crap personality fit. the new guy sounds decent enough... as well as ehlping out more on defence and giving us a reliable outside shot and passing threat. should be a good fit.

bugger about amare, but its better to be out for the start of the season than the end. hopefully he'll come back as dominant as he was last year. and yes, he did deserve more credit than he got... but steve nash deserved every bit of credit he got.

Maybe some of the stuff about Alston are true but i like him for And1 street ball. I always wanted to see what he could do in the League. I hope he does well in Houston and that Mike James does the Raptors good.

Damn... Raptors lost by 1 point in overtime to the Jazz and Tierre Brown, who finished with 24 points for the Raptors played quite decent, for a trade from the LA Lakers. I didn't expect it; then again, most of the rookies and new guys got to touch the ball a lot because guys like Chris Bosh with 8 points in the starting quarter sat out for most of the game. Deron Williams 8 points and C.J. Miles 14 points proved to be adequate draft picks.

I was a little surprised by Villanueva's 15 points and 4 blocks.

I dont want to burst the Raptors bubble but Tierre Brown looked amazing in last years pre season games for the Lakers. By the end of the season he was aptly named "Terrible Brown", hopefully he can help the Raptors though.

"Terrible Brown" lol. Thats rich. Telfair showed a lot of promise for the Blazers last night with 12 pts, 3 stls, but most importantly 10 asts. The Blazers did pretty good overall too but as Kool showed, its only preseason.

Wait a second, did the Season start already? I thought it was pre-season. Because i was watching the Angels game and at the bottom it said "Spurs 88 Sixers 100" and i'm said "Meh it's only preseason it don't matter." But is it preseason still? If not, then GO SIXERS!!!

The season doesn't start until the beginning of November, so yeah, its just preseason.

If you want to believe the Sixers beat the Spurs in the reg season then you go for it dude. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

They are not sayin he's gonna be bad, they are just saying that it was a horrible pick for the Raptors, because they could have got much better than him. and IMO he's not that good anyway, because he wasnt even that good College. I think he'll be pretty decent, but not anyhing special.

I havnt been paying attention to basketball much lately with Football, and the MLB Playoffs, and i was a little confused. lol i wasnt sure if it started yet, but i was pretty sure the season didnt start.

And Kool, at least My Sixers can make the playoffs. 😛

There's nothing wrong with Charlie Villeneuva man let i go hes a guy with something to prove and i see where hes coming from he didn't have a very good senior year in college but at least hes willing to redeem him self. and i don't think that you can tell the future just yet.
but any way i like the sixers too finals this year!
