how the **** could you cheat on that??!!

I know man, and to think people question Kobe's "shot" selection in games.

Well, then again he cheated on her so we should be questioning a lot about Kobe.

Thats my point leave the shot selection alone, there are bigger, more important questions to be asked about Kobe.

On the subject of my Lakers we should have a comfortable win on the road against the Spurs tonight.
😐

good luck with that spurs win.....when i meant how could anyone cheat on her, i meant how could kobe cheat on her, i guess i shoulda been more specific. DETROIT BABY DETROIT!!!!!

I knew what you meant dude, its not like we'll ever get the chance to cheat on her. 😛
I was actually expecting my Lakers to get raped by the Spurs but it ended up alot closer than i thought. As much as i defend Kobe in this thread i really have to blame him tonight for what could have been an amazing win on the road. When he is on he is a game-winner and there is nobody i would rather have on my team in the clutch. But tonight when his shots weren't falling he still tried to shoot his way through it instead of looking for his teammates, who were playing well for a change. This has always been a popular criticism of Kobe and this year he has been playing more within the offence and getting better shots but tonight was a throwback to the old Kobe. I hope he has a good long look at a tape of tonight game and sees that we got back into the game by moving the ball and playing team ball.

Ok, I guess I just read it differently.

I couldnt agree more Myth, Kobe's wife is fine. When i saw who he cheated on her with i was mortified, the girl is an ogre compared to Vanessa.
Royke, it is well known that Doug Christie has actually been neutered in his relationship. His wife totally dominates him and will hardly let him even speak to another woman. He even has little signs he has to give her during games to show he is thinking about her. She isnt allowed to travel on the team bus so she follows in a car and talks to him the whole time on the phone. He is also not allowed to do interviews with female reporters unless she is present. The list goes on, im sure Dr Strangelove has a bounty of stories being a Kings fan but thats it in a nutshell.

She is overly protective, but considering I just watched a Real Sports report on groupie's, her way might be the only way to keep a NBA player's pants on. And really, I think it's disgusting all the crap they got from the media and fans about their weird relationship. Is it out of the ordinary? Yes, but they are happy how they live their lives which is all that matters. It's sad when a NBA player cheats on his wife and nobody gives a shit, yet while another NBA player loves his wife and family to the fullest extent and gets trashed for it. If the guy enjoys being pussy whipped, then god bless him.

I hope the Kings do honor Christie some time in the future. Class player and class all around guy.

Well, I disagree there. It was afterall on the news almost everyday for a year.

Dr, i can tell you have a soft spot for one of your ex-players and i respect that so i wont poke fun anymore. But come on man we do this kind of shit to celebrities all the time be it athletes, actors, musicians, whatever. Its what makes us shallow.

Thats because Kobe was charge with rape (much bigger than adultery). If Kobe just got caught cheating on his wife then it would've been in the news for a week or two but would've disappeared thereafter.

Nothing you said was really demeaning in any way. I have no problem saying that their relationship is weird and that Mrs. Christie is somewhat of a psycho. Hell I've even laughed at a couple of Christie jokes (most notably Bill Simmon's "Doug Christie Jersey" jokes which are hilarious)

What pisses me off is when MJ gets caught paying off a groupie to keep quiet and gets mild treatment with the media and fans, while Christie gets constantly attacked for loving his wife and kids in a weird way.

wat happened with jordan? i dont get any of this news here... is ee your point though doc.

Yay! Cavs broke their losing streak at 2 and it was against the Clippers. Brand has been a beast btw.

big game tomorrow, pistons vs larry brown

Larry Brown doesnt have much of a game anymore so the Pistons should take that one. 😛

the knicks have started to show a bit more intensity though... i think by the end of the season they'll be playing better.... whether they'll be in the playoff hunt... i doubt.

Another one of my jokes falls flat on its face. Internet humour can be tough. 🙁

Has anybody else been voting for all-stars? I usually vote twice a day (one on my computer and one in the school library while I have Teacher Assistant hours):

Here's who I've been selecting:
East:
Guards: Wade and Redd
Forwards: Lebron and Dwight
C: Zydrunas

West:
Guards: Ray Allen and J-Rich
Forwards: Duncan and Garnett
C: Przybilla

i'm not gonna vote until further into the season.... and i normally vote for who i think deserves it... gerald wallace being one of them. dwight howard and chris bosh also. troy murphy and camby also from the west.
