no it said that Tor just gets the rubble, Harbard is taunting Tor

Well thats what the english translation said. Anyway can we agree that its says that Thor gets the common people while Odin gets the earls? If Thor gets the common people obvoulsy his followers end up Thrudrheim.

Online but I dindt have the time to continue im going to start again at some point. Ive forgotten most of it but I can spot a few words.

Im not sure exactly how to define it but I think there are different versions of it depending on what part of Scandanvia you came from.

well slaves arent exactly common people, and that is actually what Harbard is taunting Tor with. That Odin get the earls which here is synonyms with brave and kins of slaves is bottom of the ladder, actually very interesting Harbard song, one should believe one showed the Gods more respect 😕

indeed, Norwegian would say Norse is Norwegian 😎 , Swedes probably also would say Norse is Norwegian cause they dont want to be associated with anything Norwegian 😂 also Danes called Norwegian Northlings (Nord boer) yet we had tribal names here as Horder, Ryger, Agder, Heder, and the provinces today very much carry names like that Horder= Hordaland (Bergen 2. largest city in Norway) Ryger= Rogaland (Stavanger 4. largest and the center for the north sea oil industry) Agder= Vest Agder & Aust Agder (west and east Agder) Heder= Hedemark.

Wasn't "Old Norse" divided into two geographical distinctions?

Bro they guys is exaggerating...its like what Loki said to Thor in the flying of loki. Obvoulsy all the guys is trying to do is make Thor feel bad by calling the followers of THors slaves. Any heathen well tell you that most of the people that worshipped Thor were common people. 😬

At any rate as we said before Odin gets the nobleman in battle. Thor gets the common people 😐

Thats because the guy who is insulting him is either Odin or Loki.

The term Old Norse refers to the language spoken in Scandinavia and Scandinavian settlements from about 800 to about 1350. It should be obvious that it was not exactly the same language over a vast area and 550 years. It is usually split into two groups, which are then split into two dialects.

West Norse
Old Icelandic Old Norwegian

East Norse
Old Danish Old Swedish
