I guess they changed their views. Catholics do with the Popes permission.

It doesn't matter.

Then, neither does anything you have left to say. Coward.

Your premise is false. Your rebuttal is weak and you have made no point. All you have shown is prejudice and poor judgment. Welcome to fail.

Telling me what you don't like about my question is a poor substitute for actually answering it.

Why answer your question? Does it serve a good purpose? Unlikely. By not telling you I achieve the same thing.

Not from an outsider's perspective.

Because I asked it. And you have absolute truth on your side.

Not that it matters.

Too bad the Bible does apply its truth to matters of science.

It mattered enough for you to reply.

Which doesn't give it a very specific quantity.

By all means, give it one by answering my question.

That's him, though he's an Ulsterman.

a controversial man, or is it just press being biased against him?

As Catholics go, he's not controversial at all.

What so I started this thread to talk about Heathenry but instead I get 4 full pages of nothing but Christanity. Hey Christians only forcibly converted the Norse people to Christanity and killed off other Christian sects, but hey feel free to hijack this thread as well. 😒:

christianity and heathens goes hand in hand as with other religious views they all form a symbiont circle

Hey Christians only forcibly converted the Norse people
not entirely true, many Norse was chrisitan before it was made the sole religion, that many was forced yes, but it is also very exaggerated stories to create religious martyrs. The likes of OLav HAraldson (st OLav/OLaf) who was slain at the battle of Stiklestad 1030, he was canonized due to that he brought chrisitianity to the heathens here in Norway and was slain for it. Truth behind the story though is most of his opponents were christians and fought him cause he was a tyrant and for regional political issues like Olav Haraldson wanted a strong centralized power and his opponent wanted regional powers

I was under the impression that one of the main reasons why the Norse people became Christain was because it was made an agenda to make the pagans Christain. I dont think brute force was just used but economics as well and also basically just being a pest as well. What I mean is that missionaries didnt always use force but targeted pagans for conversion.

I know some Heathens accepted chistanity without force and some didnt have a problem with it but you can see in some Sagas that followers of Thor were getting pissed of with Christain missionaries because they were pushing Christanity onto them. Im pretty sure that Thor was seen as an opponent of Jesus in Norway.

Didnt Scandanvian countries have to actually stop practising heathenism?
