It's interesting to note that it says Kory "wields a power that defies measure and imagination." It makes me wonder how her powers work, exactly. She either absorbs solar energy so fast that she can instantly have enough to fly after going nova, or was possibly still holding back.
After Kory rocked Idigo/Braniac 8's ship with the nova blast she blitzes.
