I've maintained that what I believe is a matter of faith.

Faith - something I dont have to defind. i.e. the color blue is blue because everybody believes it to be blue.

I state things as fact because they are fact.

However, when dealing with God He requires faith because without faith it is impossible to please Him.

I talk about faith all of the time.

Whenever I speak about God or His Word I am talking about faith.

As far as God is concerned the things that I talk about are facts because I speak the truth.

So, if the bible was proved to be fiction, then your faith would crumble and fall away. That is because you use fact to support your faith. Your faith should stand on it's own.
