If Burton does do Dark Shadows, please let the leading lady not be Helena again - why, is he trying to save on movie costs by keeping it all in the family or what?

Yeah, I'm with T.Maria and Zac_Depp - I think Helena would be really good in Dark Shadows - maybe not as one of the refined Collins' girls/ladies but as one of the other important characters (depending on what century they pull the story from, lol). I love her as an actress - she is just amazingly talented. Well, on second though, maybe she could pull of one of the more refined girls - she is an actress after all, lol.
As for Pirates 4, I would want the trio back too girls. Too many new characters might be weird, we started with the trio - I want some closure!!! I can't really see Kate and Johnny together (ducks tomatoes)...I'd love to see Johnny and Kate Winslet again (probably not in POTC 4), Gracy Singh,....gah...I had some others in mind but my brain is failing me, lol.

agreed. without them it just.. won't be POTC anymore... I mean, Jack makes up majority of POTC, but.. without them, it's.. kinda weird...

wow, watching Johnny in that show it's almost as if he is a totally different person, and he really is, in a way.
I know what you mean - he does seem really different, yet you see these flashes of who he is now, lol. I absolutely love 21 Jump Street (my parents do too, which is nice 😉) He's so cute there, and I don't feel bad about having a crush on him there as he was only a few years older than I am now 😄 It feels weird for a teenager to love a 40 something year old man - even if he is totally hot 😉
I love 21 Jump Street so so much but I don't watch it...the reason I want to watch it to begin with is Johnny and I know for a fact that he hated doing that show. It just feels weird to watch something when the actor hates what he's doing but Johnny's hotness factor in it makes it okay and fun it watch
I'm all for Dark Shadows though. I'd actually love Helena Bonham Carter in the lead female role...and I'm really in a vampire faze right now. Tim/Johnny can do so much with a vampire theme...
As for POTC 4...sadly I'm totally against it! If it's made I'll love it to death and watch it 5 times in the theatre and everything but I feel they shouldn't stretch it too far. It won't feel the same without Will and Elizabeth even if I don't enjoy Willabeth at all. I couldn't accept the new characters...It wouldn't feel the same.
As amazing as Johnny's acting, Gore's vision and T&T's storytelling is stretching it too far is just stretching it too far.
It better if it's remembered as "POTC was the best trilogy ever. I wish they would have made another" instead of "Oh it was great before they made a loads to make money and ruined the whole thing."

Miz Tee PiGirl, yep, think Rocky 13--yucko--I wouldn't mind another movie with Jack and Barbossa, however, there won't ever ever ever on a bet be enough money, time, story, whatever, to have another gathering of the brethern--it's like with Lord of the Rings trilogy--committing 3 years of your life, like with Pirates--just don't see how it would ever work and the joy of the Pirates was ALL the pieces and parts, that we could have such a diverse family to love and identify with--that we had cousins and uncles and bosuns and pirate lords and a keeper of the code and ex-(cute as a speckled pup with a red bow on Christmas morning)commodores and natives and a monkey and a cool dog and goddesses and the next generation and TORTUGA! And much beloved and anticipated and adored and lusty Capt'n Jack Sparrow.
Now, that trilogy--yep--the stuff of dreams forever.

POTC 4 CAN work! Look, there's gonna be Indiana Jone 4! Just leave it to a good script, great directing, talented acting and CHEMISTRY and I'm so positive POTC 4 can be even better than AWE. Keira and Orlando are history - forget them! Johnny can do this with other people too. I want to see something fresh, not rehashed.
They can make Pirates 100 for all i care!! I know Johnny will stay on the project until he feels that it's too much!! If they do another one it's because Johnny knows there is still more to be done with Jack!! Trust Johnny people!! 😄 He is not a sell out and does not do things for the money! He stays true to himself!!

Hey Too Freedom I was watching a couple of clips of Dark Shadows and I think Kate Beckensale would be perfect in that movie!! I kind of saw her in Angelique's character! well from what I saw which wasnt much!!
I think Nicole Kidman would make a fantastic Angelique (I don't know that much of Kate's work, so I'm not trying to compare or anything) - she really has the look as well as the demenor...(http://www.hecklerspray.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/nicole%20kidman%20helicopter.jpg). David Tennant would make an excellent Willie...I'd love to see him work with Johnny 😄 As for Josette, hm...not really sure, lol.
