Ewe I just saw an add for ST and he looks dreadful! seriously scary. I wish he would stop working with Tim Burton. am I going to get shot around here for saying that? lol... sorry.he and helena look like they could be TWINS, by the way. anyone else notice that??
Helena commented that she and JD are twins in a magazine article recently funny you should mention that

haha really? weird. she kind of creeps me out too. but i loved her as ophelia.i'm sort of against tim burton.
HBC kind of creeps me out too. I really don't think she is that great of an actress I think Tim Burton should stop casting her in everything. He could have found someone better to play Mrs. Lovett I believe but I think HBC will do a fine job.
But Johnny Depp and Tim Burton working together is magic. Arguably Tim's best film is Ed Wood and that is such a great Johnny performance. Sleepy Hollow is amazing as well and as I said Edward Scissorhands is one of the few movies that always makes me cry.
Plus Tim Burton directed my favorite Batman movie...as you can tell 😄
I like Tim Burton's weirdness but sometimes I wish he would just do something different. I think the only non Burton film I've seen Helena in is Fight Club 🙂
Sweeney Todd looks really (sorta) good and interesting but I'll never see it. Unless it's on tv. Me + Graphic Bloody Violence= Mentally Scarred and Fainted Me. 😖

I like Tim Burton's work too, its so creative and different, I find it rather refreshing, lol 😛.
I'm right there with you about Sweeney Todd, Pocky 😉
Agreed, Kateloves, however the gentleman is quite innovative and he directs Mr. Depp nicely IMO--they play well together and indulge one another I'm thinkin'. Sounds like Sweeny is going to be bloody as hell without all the cool English cussword conotation--the interview where they get so cracked up about the 10 decade comment is a hoot, they are just bad.
HBC is flippin' lovely--she has that throwback late 19th/early 20th century English beauty--similar to KK, but finer--check out a Room with A View--she is stunning, a young English rose, all filmed in sunshine and white..oops, TOT, please excuse.
No, no shooting Miz Sel&Bru, I'm pretty much of an aginner when it comes to blood, guts, gore, and pain--I couldn't even watch the flogging scene in DMC--I stuffed my fingers in my ears, so I wouldn't cry over hearing it. I imagine that I'm going to not see a lot of ST. Love it, a veg head, with a devout aversion to pain and blood going to see a serial killer who has a cannibel girlfriend. Oh, at Christmas time--yep it's going to unusual--
and y'all--I so missed the hotness of Sleepy Hollow--he really did seem to be channeling Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury)/Nancy Drew. It's hard for me to feel that special yaya for an old lady/teenage girl. It was nice, I love the toy he carried, and it was a well done interpretation of the story. I swear to pete, Christopher Walken terrifies me! I know he's just a person, but wowie zowie, scary dude.
