Okidokey then! But nor do you have Lightning Reload.

Whoa, I see a very attractive plan here from the Final Flight Osiris vibe...
San and Melis get to it! To answer your question- not the first time this issue has arisen, in fact- if you have all three of those on, one of them is going to be not doing much.
Both have Defences that kick in, but Melis's Hands of Light give her a 1 pool advantage.
Melis scores three successes! Five damage to San. But San is tapping already, her twin knives spinning and flashing...
San scores 2, 4 and 2 successes. Not her best ever attacks, but the 4 did get her a bonus, so IB remains unused! Without Life's Armour on Melis, this looks a littler better for San; a total of 11 damage.

Melis wants to swap out HL and replace it with Lone Bamboo after this...
Following up her light blow to San's solar plexus, Melis tries to catch her off guard with a sudden knife-handed chop to her shoulder (HT tap) and then a few strong but lightning quick punches to the collar bone region (HL tap).
Dale, you are up against John's Helios.
Ok, Hawk, that needs an acrobatics roll. Two successes is enough! Anyone with Abundant Leaping active makes such jumps for no roll.
With only one success needed, Firewall, your next foe falls easily, leaving just the one remaining who now only hits you on a 6... which he doesn't. Finish him any way you like.
Cloud opens up aggressively on Heretic with a 16 dice attack!
You score four successes, Cloud, but you also scored a bonus. I think Clever Fox is the most likely to go off, so that makes nine damage! You move so that his polearm actually gets in his way, and rebounds into himself, driving him back.
He recovers quickly, and makes a wide-arcing swing with the reverse of the spear. He's using Lone Bamboo for two pool, and Sharpened Scales for extra damage. This leaves him with a pool of 10. He scores two successes on those dice, which is seven damage! He return smack comes quite hard.
Rocas- no, I am afraid the extra attack from LR would come after the other tap effects had done their work. Defensive taps work for an entire round though.
Ok, Melis is going hand-blurry on the Hands of Light also! 18 dice coming San's way! Just as Cloud, she gets four successes with a bonus.
Best to use HT with that bonus, making the base damage four. Eight damage in total!
And then as San goes for her attack, Melis gets in a bonus barehanded jab from HT. Three successes inflicts another four damage.
San doesn't use tap IB, so 'only' gets two attacks. San scores two successes and five successes and again completely wastes a bonus by not having tapped it. Still, nine damage!

Ariadne's comments: Geez, what is it with you guys watching girls fight?
You must be putting them off. It is almost inexplicable for a Fighter not to tap Iron Butterfly when it has no taps on it. With three rolls to get the bonus in, a high pool on each, and likely no other bonus you can use, there is a big chance you simply waste an attack by not tapping it. Even if it doesn't happen, you still have another tap left, and the first and second taps would clear at a Refresh point anyway!
