Episode III too focused on Anakin's story

I tend not to try and center each trilogy around one character, because to be honest, none of the characters are that complex, and no one could carry the story entierly on there own, not even Han.

I don't want to give any of the characters that much credit where it's not deserved, I always prefer thinking of Star Wars as the western set in space, and its all those strange and wonderful aliens and locations which create that truly amazing effect.

The best parts, in my opinion, of the OT were the scenes when your hero's conflicted, such as Han and 3PO, Luke and Han, Obi-Wan and Han, Leia and Han...wait, that sounds like the narrative centers around Han, which is not true, as the OT is not Han's story.

Too bad though hehehehe

Hehe.

Maybe you have a Han fetish?

Just a little bit, he is an inspiration to us all. I'm just trying to point out that as a viewer, the best moments for me are when Han is arguing and conflicting against every other character, which for me makes the narrative center around Han, not Luke.

My favourite parts of the PT, dare I say seem to be a few of the fightscenes, not all of them as none have drastic replay value for me.

ESB is very much Han's movie I think. And that is the best of the saga right?

Allegedly.

My favourite...I guess if i'm going to be high brow about things, its the most artistic, some of the best comic moments, has one of the most enjoyable subtle romances ever, a plot twist like nothing else (part from the hundred or so imitaters) and the most interesting plantes.

in short: ESB is the best.

Aye Cap'n it is.

OOppssss.. he's turned Scotty on me.

Argh. Most artistic? ESB? Umm....

For all you techno fans and DOTF fans....techno sucks, but here ya go...

Maybe what makes the OT more 'real' is the fact that in centers around more than one likeable characters - Luke, Han, Leia..C3PO, R2D2..to an extent Obi-wan, Yoda and Calrissian. Plus the all-time villain Vader. Viewers are interested to see how these characters, that they grew to love, develop in the story. How they relate to one another, in the context of the story.

The PT, has an astonishingly lack of likeable characters. We only see hayden as Anakin in AoTC and RoTS. Even Padme went thru a spectrum of character (from Queen to Senator to crying Wife), and not a development as a character by itself. Even their relationship with each other seem rather distant and unreal compared to Luke, Leia, Han.

Only Obi-wan, argubly, truly develop as a charcter in the PT.

and how did Han develope so much?

From a self-centered mercenary to a guy with respect and caring for others. That wasn't too hard to see, was it?

hmmm...must have missed that.

😆

LEIA: Its not over yet...

HAN: It is for me sister, I'm not in it for your revolution. Im in it for the money Luke says u have. But now ur planet's destroyed, i dont think u have them anymore!!
