Calm down there soldier, anything said on KMC is easily forgiven/forgotten in a short while....unless you purposefully have a grudge 😬
All I was trying to say was that people are taking this too seriously. He died...it's a shame, but the fact that an animal did him in adds some irony (and yes, even humor) to this.
To some extent yes we can see the irony and how it might appear to be funny in some way, however there is a line between mourning an accident and blantantly making disrepectful pictures and jokes, especially given exactly what Steve accomplished in his life.
Was it funny when the Pope died? Was it funny when Princess Diana died? The only ones who can go out and make such 'funny' comments are sad pathetic loners trying to make themselves look good.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I am amused that you compared him to the Pope and Princess Diana.
What did Steve accomplish in his life? He yanked wild animals out of their habitat so that he could look good on TV. He was an entertainer. Comparing him to the Pope and Princess Diana is a little far-fetched, don't you think? Besides, who are you to judge how others deal with death? Some people deal with it with humor...some people, like yourself, are apparently very uptight about it.

Well then, should you be mourned when you die? What would you have accomplished when you die? Cure cancer? Perhaps send even a little bit of money to AIDS orphans in Africa? Don't make nasty comments about the dead.

I don't want people to mourn my death. I would rather they celebrate my life. I want my funeral/memorial service to be as short as possible.

Well now, you just owned meBut you stated that you do want a memorial service
If my family chooses to do that, it's fine...I just don't want them to have to sit around for a long time feeling sad. I want them to remember me like I am now. I have even considered making a video to be played...and yes, I would be cracking jokes at my own expense. It's who I am.

Hmm lets see....they were all people...they all died....they were all famous...they all had a cause they wanted us to follow.....well shit Im clueless, please fill me in.
What did he do, besides your ignorant ranting? Lets see, bought out acres of land to preserve it, educated people on saving endangered animals, 'yanked out of habitat'...Im sure he did that for fun 🙄 Obviously there was something wrong with their habitat and he carried them over to a much better locale.
Lets see what the Pope did...sat on a chair and told people to be good to each other?
Humour: To cause amusement. I really dont see how death is amusing, or how humour is a form of 'dealing' with death. Are those pictures and jokes funny? Apparently not, no one here is laughing. Im uptight about it because little pricks who do that have amounted his goals and achievements to absolutely nothing but a cheap half a minute laugh.
Are you going to laugh when your parents die? When your siblings die? When your friends die? When your spouse dies? When your children die? Cause if not....well then you're just being uptight.
