USH'S GAME EPISODE III- 'ARTIFACT'. Light Side Area

Ok, these balconies (about five or six of them) are completely open and exposed. There are some twenty pirates in here with a variety of arms between small arms and another emplaced mount, up top. They are guarding the ship's systems.

Sieri takes a moment to do a Jedi calming technique. She clears her mind of all unnessary things ( not flying the ship 😉 ) and then she listens to the comm chatter.

Okidokey, you are working on breaking into those frequencies, Julie.

From the readings you are getting, the pirate ship is all powered up and ready to detach, but it is still just sitting there.

"That's odd. What the blazes are they waiting for?" Sieri takes a moment to check to make sure all her weapons systems are working. Then she turns her attention back to the comm chatter coming from the strange ship.

The ship takes the odd pot shot at you to warn you off, Julie. It's definitely an argument you are hearing.

Sieri senses the poorly aimed shot. "Hey! What'd I ever do to you?! Hurumph some people!. Well, you don't shake a jedi that easily." She takes another look to see if the hangar is still safe, then she maneuvers her fighter closer to the ship. "The least they could do was take a decent shot at me."

It's an expensive ship, Julie. And it's not just the weaponry- much of which could well have been salvaged- but it's the interdictor gear that they had to use to pull the Coruscant Star out of hyperdrive.

It's almost totally ridiculous that pirates would risk a valuable ship like this on such a seemingly pointless raid.

"Something strange is going on here!" She shifts in her seat as a small chill runs down her back (la espalda)...."You'd think they would take care of such nice equipment," she mutters to herself.

The only POSSIBLE reason for them to stay is if that was somehow more profitable to them than leaving... must be a lot to justify that risk.

"Ugh, why do I have a bad feeling about this whole mess?" Sieri cautiously approaches the "bad" ship.

Force-leaping from the stairs to the open level just above, Gundark brought her sabre down in a short arc and through the blaster held by the pirate nearest her, quickly disarming him.

It's a modular ship, Julie; as in lots of different bits clumped together, but that is standard pirate practice when they build their own ships.

You don;t want to get any closer; too many mini-turrets that are blasting away at your ship.

But you are close enough to catch some words from the comms now- the captain of the pirate ship is communicating with the bridge of the Coruscant Star ; something about wanting to disengage.

Okidokey, Gundy, the fixed repeater gun up top starts to rake it's fire down to you, though it is an awkward angle. Others are firing covering shots to try and prevent the others coming any further up.

Gundark easily deflected the sloppy firepower from the heavy gun above. She slashed at another pirate running toward her and sprinted for the next set of stairs.

It's actually rather metallic ladders; this is a typical engineering section rather than a palace. As such, with two pirates guarding the top of the next ladder it;s not quite so straightforward.

Xeth begins deflecting shots and jumps up to where Gundark is. "Oh look, another welcoming party!" says Xeth as he cuts off the arm of one pirate.

Sieri wisely keeps her distance. "Yes, do disengage....run off to whatever black hole you came from," she mutters to the comm. She hits the communication button, "Pirate ship, this is Jedi Starfighter II, come in please," she says pleasantly into the comm.

Ush, would it be faster to go back and take the other route?

It COULD be, Mah, yes, though you would be annoyed at the wasted time. If you could think of some means via which those doors could be opened you'd get there before anyone.

Xeth and Gundy, you are solid where you are but a plan of attack to get up further would be good.

The pirate ship does not answer your hail, Julie. How rude!

Xeth cuts down two more pirates, then says to Gundark "Cover me!". He whips out his sonic blaster and fires at the pirates at the top of the ladder.

They didn't expect that! One of them is blasted away.
