"So what do you guys say we start asking some questions?" Lance asked the group.

Your sharp senses can hear the clattering sound of wooden swords bashing aginst each other beyond the doors to the main area...

"Lets check that out, it might give us answers to why that guy had the sword." Mah suggests to the others.

Suggestions are good but I think action is needed... unless you are all waiting for Gundy!

"Come on everybody, we're going in." Lance said as he was walking to the main room's doors.

Lance, you just walked into the sabre training dojo at the Jedi Temple.

You step back out again, surprised, just to confirm that you ARE still on Malastare and not travelled though some wormhole. Yup, definitely on Malastare.

You look back in and there are little differences. The people, for a start- not Jedi, but normal Grans and humans. Some of the artifacts aren't quite right. But other than that this is a perfect copy of where you all learnt how to use the lightsabre. Heck, where did these artifacts come from? Some of these are rather rare and valuable!

Some people are traing and sparring, with wooden practice swords, some are practicing against dummies with metallic sharp ones. In the middle, two people are fighting with wooden swords and heavy practice armour. Your experinced views sum it up immedaitely; a young and fast fighter versus an older, more experienced one. The older one is going to win.

"Ok, now this is creepy." Lance muttered, "Do you suppose that we had a spy in the Temple and they copied our relics?"

"I don't know...something's not right, that's for sure."

Let's see...Who do we need to talk to? Lance thought to himself.

Then out of the corner of his eye he sees a man watching the trainee's at work.

That must be the master of this training center.

"I believe I just found us somebody to talk to." Lance said, pointing in the direction of the man.

Nice try, Lance, but the trainer is ACTUALLY the older guy duelling in the middle, so you probably pick him out...

As you approach, he turns towards you, and takes off his face mask, revealing an ageing human

"Lance?" he asks.

My word, it's Teshan!

ALL of you know Teshan. He's not a Jedi, but he IS a good swordfighter- he helps Yoda teach the Younglings at the Temple, including all of you- they need all the civilian instructors they can get, as Jedi can rarely be spared for such training.

Actually, now you think about it, he WOULD be getting on a bit by now...

"Teshan!" Lance exclaimed. "It's been so long. How have you been?"

"Lance, it IS you! My my!" He looks around at the rest of you. "Sieri, Mah, Xeth... even little Kellan!"

(And boy, was Teshan a dark-haired, handsome man when YOU knew him, Gundy...)

"Well well... but yes, yes, I am fine! Retired, of course." He smiles. "I mean, there wasn't one of you little buggers that couldn't beat me by the time you were 10, what with your speed and senses... but when the six year olds started to beat me as well, I realised it was perhaps time to bow out gracefully... but now I run this place! Train with the man who once helped train the Jedi, see? It's very attractive. I do good business teaching these people how to handle a sword... none of them as talented as you, of course!"

"Why thanks. Well to get to the point on why we're here. Do you know what happened to one of your students outside? Presuming he's your student after all. We gathered that much from him holding a training sword."

"The one who has been murdered, you mean?" he asks. He then looks surprised.

"Is THAT what you are here for? The authorities told me that invesitgators would come to speak to me, but they said nothing about Jedi... and so many Jedi! What exactly is all this?"

"Yes, we had no idea that you were here, we just wanted to ask some questions to the man in charge, and I guess that means you. Have you had a chance to see the murder scene?"

"Oh no," said Teshan, "They said no-one was to see it. It's terrible, very terrible... he was a talented student, as well. I have no idea what he was even doing out back, let alone who would want to kill him. But... not that I do not appreicate your presence, my friends..." he says, in a 'Yikes, these kids have grown big!' kind of voice, "... but isn't a murder like this more of a matter for the local authorities, rather than the Jedi?" I would imagine you had bigger things to deal with!"

"Actually, Teshan, we're on a confidential mission here. This murder is a possible connection." She grinned at him warmly. "Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated."

"Confidential?" asks Teshan. "I see... well, I am afraid I really unsure what more I can tell you!"

"How long was he a student here ?"

"Oh, only a few months," says Teshan.
