USH'S GAME EPISODE III- 'ARTIFACT'. Light Side Area

Kellan ignored the uncomfortable security guards and the invisible cameras she knew were there and keyed the lift panel. She looked at Sieri and mah. "I'm sure Ascar already knows we're back on his doorstep."

The lift shoots you to the top. You re-enter the reception area, where Majora sits behind her desk. She is combing her hair. She looks at you, with faint irritation.

"What are YOU doing here?" she asks.

"I have some further questions for Ascar," Kellan explained in her most polite voice. "I understand he's a very busy man, however this won't take but a few minutes."

"Well, Mr. Ascar is a very busy man," she says. "He has already given up his valuable time to help you once today. He is not taking any more visitors."

In that case during your investigations, you find out litte about Ascar EXCEPT that people associate him with Persis. People are scared of Persis. He's not from around here, but he is running something quite big from this planet, under Ascar's protection.

Kellan did not waver from her polite voice. "I'm sure if you would be so kind as to inform your employer exactly who is here to see him, he would re-arrange his schedule to accomodate our brief visit," she said graciously. "As the respectable citizen of the Republic that he is."

I take my comlink and call up Kellan after she keeps up I tell her: "try to find out what you can about persis ppl seem to be very scared of him and ascar should know him very well"

after that I send a message to the archives requesting info on this persis

"And I assure you, Master Jedi," says Majora, somehow making that into an insult, "that Mr. Ascar is not seeing anyone, regardless of who they are. He was very clear on that point. As a respectable citizen he has the right to choose his own business."

Archive records on Persis are rather slim, Marcus. Only lead seems to be that he has been known to operate in an area not far from Malastare that is currently the subject of a Senatorial investigation, the details of which seem mostly classified.

Lance- Kuylen has left Malastare. Without a fast lead, you quest is doomed. Mah is checking out Ascar's background officially, Marcus less officially, and Sieri and Gundark have gone to see him again.

In fact, seeing as you all have very storng suspicions about where he is going, there may only be ONE way to find him, and that is to find out hios destination in the same way he did...

Astrolabe. And actually threatening to kill Ascar would be not much in keeping with your jobs... you also do not know if Ascar knows the location- he doesn't have the maps to use with the Astrolabe.

"Fine," Kellan dropped the polite approach and replied in the same tone she was getting from the uncooperative secretary. "I'd like to browse through his museum again. In the interim, perhaps we can make an appointment. "

"His collection is not open to public viewing at this time," says Majora, brushing her hair still and not bothering to look at you. "And I am afraid that unless you are a business partner, his appointment book is closed. I think you should go..."

"No, I think you should give us access to his collection", Mah answers calmly.

"Well, you are not going to get it..." says Majora.

Xeth calmly ignores her insults. If he were a Dark Jedi, he'd be holding her head. But, being a Jedi Knight, he decides to go with the more passive form of persuasion.

"You will let us see Kir Ascar," Xeth says, using a Mind Trick.

Majora stares at you for a moment.

"You will see Kir Ascar," she says. She presses a button under his desk, and the door to his office opens.

Gundark winked at Xeth and moved toward the open door with quick strides.

Well, you are in Ascar's office as before; windows overlooking the city on the right, the desk nearby, his bar at the opposite wall, and the steps down to his collection on the left. Ascar is over by the bar.

Far closer is Persis. When you walk in he quickly levels a large gun at you with a practiced, two-hand grip.

"You're not permitted to be in here!" he says. "Get the hell out!"
