USH'S GAME EPISODE III- 'ARTIFACT'. Dark Side area

Started by Captain REX59 pages

(Although, if Chion helped the four of us could probably get it somewhere...)

Takuan breaks the silence with an opinion. "these drives must've gottne here somehow...maybe something can be found in the other rooms"

A-HA! Logic has struck. Yeah, there has to be SOME way of moving these things, or how would they sell them?

You can't find any other rooms, but there is a door that looks like it leads to a large closet. The door is locked; well, not exactly locked, but apparently closed with no handle on this side.

( 😄 )
Noticing the door, Takuan goes to it with the saber ignited, attempting an opening.

The door is cut through easily enough (considering that you are using a sabre).

Inside is a large, inactive droid.

Takuan glases at the robot after sabering the door. "Hey guys, come help me outa over here" He then starts looking for a switch to activate the robot.

Hmm, no on switch...

He finds no switch...a powers suply perhaps

Ah! It has a receiver for a power supply. These things are centrally operated, then.

Seeing as you shut all the local systems down earlier, suddenly things are making sense...

( explain a little more 😄 )

Well, the sabotage group shut down all the systems in this area to knock out the cameras. Seems this also includes the droid control.

(I would have done that, but last time I went searching for something I was blown up 😆 )

Galder looks to Takuan. "Good work Takuan, we found an inactive droid. How useful," he says sarcasically. "Maybe we could use the Force to make somethin click inside the stupid thing and turn it on."

"although not connected to the suply, perhaps his power's not yet depleeted"

Nah, it's a power-free droid. And in any case it might receive its operating instructions remotely as well.

"there has to be a control form somewhere"

This is certainly true but it is not around here.

( i can think of 2 things:
1. are there anymore hidden doors somewhere?
2. if we take out the cameras manually and then turn the power back on will only the droid controll system be activated?)

I think working in the area of number two is far better; you might even be able to selectively disrupt systems.

This is what you get for leaving all that work to the NPCs, you see...

(so no. 2 it is)
After saying his oppinions he decides to stick with the second one after he found no doors.
"so...we must get back to the control pannel, select and turn back on the frame that'll power the droid"

Ok, do I assume you are heading off to the local control area, Dexx? That is where pilot guy is.

BTW, time is very short!
