The cab pulls over to the side, and the police checkpoint. The driver is being spoken to by someone at the front, whilst there is a tap at your window for your attention. You wind it down.
"May I see your identification, sir?" says a robotic voice.
Dexx, the police are using robots to check the vehicles. I am afraid there is no mind trick that will work here...

Takuan tightens the grip on his saber. He's ready to react seeing no apparent way out.

(BTW, something I forgot to say as Rex was away (and did not fight Balek). When you describe the gun Balek was going to use to shoot Galder's pod, you recognise what it was, Galder. It is an electro-pulse gun. You normally use them to fight droids- they completely blow out electrics. If a wave from that gun had hit you it would have de-activated your pod in a fraction of a second, and without your energy binders your pod would have torn itself apart.
It would have looked like an electrical failure, but if Balek had told Pelloran (who has the bounty on you guys) in advance what he was going to do he could have collected his fee and been free of any criminal charges.

takuan think he's waited long enough. And whatever he's delaying is in the end unavoidable.
"yes, ofcourse" he says right before he ignites his green saber and dives it into the waiting droid filling it with multicolor shower of sparks. He then quickly grabs the cabdriver by the neck and brutaly pushes him in the seat to his left. takuan moves forward and takes the driver seat. He engages the thrust at max and he's seen rapidly gaining height and speed.

Ok, Takuan, here is the situation. This is the capital city in a traffic jam so there are cars EVERYWHERE. However, Malastare is not as high as Coruscant so there are not many layers to the trafiic. On the downside they aren't really designed to fly very high either.
Two nearby patrol hover cars are bearing in towards you, their sirens blaring loudly.
You also do not know this area very well...
Takuan settles to fly somewhere under the normla traffic. He relies on the force and on what he sees around to trie to loose the pursuiters. he tries to accelerate evn more, in the same time paying special attention to not bumpibng anything and stabilising the vehicle. If he'll enocuter jams, he'll rise above them and pass...(if the car can take it)
Galder brings out his multi-purpose rifle and quickly loads a seeker missile. He fires once at a police car, and then loads again. He fires the second one. If the seekers miss, or if the police swerv to avoid, the seekers will turn around and hit them from the rear. They are somewhat strong missiles, and their explosion come as a large pounding noise, and they emit a whistling noise while in flight.
