USH'S GAME EPISODE III- 'ARTIFACT'. Dark Side area

Chion turns to stare at you instead, Takuan.

"Chion, you've seen Takuan before! He's our ally remember? Now let's go!" Galder pleads. He motions for them to follow him, and turns to run again.

"He doesn't look like he can fight a Jedi," says Chion, which sure as hell surprises you, Galder. Hs voice is intensly low.

"He can, Chion...wait, did you just talk?" Galder says, surprised. That is one low voice... Galder shakes himself. "He can fight, Chion. And he's better with the Force than I am."

Chion pulls his sabre into his hand (which, to remind Dexx, is a huge, ugly four-fingered thing, The sabre handle itself is massive, with two bulbous grips to accomodate his hands. The blade is very big too).

"If he cannot fight he will die. It is time those Jedi were killed."

"Have it your way big guy. But Takuan can fight, and Kuylen would probably keep you from killing him anyway. Plus, the Miramar are attacking the Jedi right now! If we go in there, the Jedi will be finished!!! And that is exactly what you want, right?"

"Don't trust the Miramar," says Chion. He looks at you with narrowed alien eyes for a little longer, Takuan, then he plods on after Galder.

Geez, Chion's creepin me out... thinks Galder, as he tramples down the street towards Ascar's place. "Be ready to start slicin as soon as we enter. If it's the Jedi that usually follow after us, they'll be quite a group."

Hard to say. Five minutes if you ran the most direct route but that could get you killed.

It seems there is a lot of police attention all over. The assault on Ascar's place is rather high profile- you can see in the distance that they have three hovercars just outside his office, vollying in fire inside.

"This looks good. I hope they don't kill Ascar though, for future business deals..."

Hmm, good point, may have been worth mentioning that to them.

Would you cry if they killed Persis?

"don't worry, i can fight" says takuan as long as you don't eat me...
"i guess you can trust me too if master Kuylen sent me here." he follows Gald syncronising their speed. "i do hope they get it" he says staring at the building and the hovercrafts. "we have to get past that police"

Chion is NOT the trusting type... though he would be unlikely to kill you himself. He just thinks the Jedi will make mincemeat of you. There ARE certain personality traits to be learnt about Chion if anyone dares.

You would think Chion makes you easier to spot. But actually, he can be REMARKABLY stealthy when he needs to be. Unless he is next to you, of course; then he is hard not to notice. He tends to scrape though doors as well.

Also worth reminding people of his appearance- albino, bright white with horrible red eyes, with pulsating blue veins running over the length of his body. His head is bald but the veins all come together to some sort of knot at the back of his head. He wears primitive furs.

(And he almost never talks, and this is probably the first time he's talked to us. He has talked to Mah last game...)

Galder gets out his comlink. "Nayler, order your men NOT to eliminate Ascar. That is not the object of our mission..."

As Nayler sends his message, you can hear vast amounts of gunfire in the background, and that Jedi Master woman yelling out to her comrades.

"Ascar is not on site," says Nayler, in his clipped, military tones.

"You haven't killed him, have you? Or did he escape? Say you didn't let him escape..."

"Ascar was not in the target area when we attacked. The Jedi were defending the device."

"Hmm, I guess he escaped then. He'll most likely rally the police to attack you, so be wary." Galder shuts off his comlink. He talks to Chion and Takuan as he runs.

"I wish Nayler wasn't so damn shrewd..."

Chion runs with a long, slow, awkward gait, but each step carries him a long way...

One of the hovercars attacking Ascar's seems to be slipping out of position. It is no longer firing.

"Nayler, why isn't one of the hovercars firing?"
