Seeing that a stealthy solution is out of the question now, Takuan throws a thermal detonator far in the reach of the coming security. He then ignites his green blade.
"they're not stupid enough to follow us and clear the building if we run" he yells at gald.
he then starts looking around for something of possible utillity. If they can use the suroundings to help them.

The guards are currently scattering away from the blockade and the thermal detonation. You has best back uo a bit too- and it will also bring policemen from miles around.

takuan visualises the exit door compared with the distance to the guards. They must be fast in clearing that exit and nayler should be even faster getting the astrolabe out before the more police arrives.
He slowly starts his approach to the guards appealing to the force for finding any solutions.

There is a BOOM! as the thermal detonator goes off mightily, causing fire and destruction all around.

Frankly, that will do as a distraction to get through, Takuan. But you guys are going to have to be quick in there lest you end up battling half the police force of Malastare.

Takuan dives his blade into the cab driver killing him instantly. He was useless now (as ever) and he could provide unnecessary info to whoever might find him.
He removes his hand from the thermal detonators as he knows it'll be too dangerous to use thme with the two of them in range of the shockwave. He strenghtens his grip on the lightsaber and rages forward, quickly approaching the building entrance.
(i assume gald and chion are with me..)

You seem to have lost track of Chion again.

You have arrived at the plaza. it;s another minute's walk to Ascar's. About 15 members of Persis' security force are on the plaza, and open fire at you.

takuan deflects the incoming enrgy bolts reserving his focus power for using the force on increasing his movement speed. Finding a safe brake between their shots he removes another thermal detonator and throws it in their way.

You only have one more after that, Dexx.

There is soon another large explosion though in a less confined area it avails you less well...

Takuan saves the last one for whatever might comeup inside. He quickly advances to the building while the remaining dispersed soldiers try to visualise him

(umm..why am i going in.....i thought we were just supposed to clear the exit. ANyway...)

Hey, you guys can do whatever you prefer!

You hear a voice over a loud communicator somewhere- it is Majora.

"Greetings," she says. "Mr. Ascar has deiced this is not an aposite time to speak to any of you at the moment. I hoper you enjoy your future lives AWAY from Malastare. Good day!"

Takuan approaches the comlink to his speaking range while advancing towards the entrance, where he expects to see nayler with the astrolabe, wrapped in gift paper if possible.
"good day to you too darling!
Must say..i'm not too impressed by malastarian hospitality. Don't think i'll recommand it too friends after i leave.
Though i'm not here to speak with mr. ascar.."

Blast doors have closed over the entracnes to Ascar's place, still 30 seconds walk way even if you were not being fired at, which you are...

Finding his way to another entrance would take more time and he would encounter even more guards. he decides to make his way to the current one and pierce it with his saber. he can get in, if he can stop the attackers somehow. When in their range, takuan pays great attention to deflecting their multiplying shots and sends flows of the force pushing them away. It should work to keep him getting to that door.

You could certainly do with someone covering you... gosh, if only there was some sort of hard combat character around to protect you...

Takuan finds a good time to look after Gald to cover him.

Galder unstraps his repeater and begins blasting away at the security guards until the round is empty. Then he slings it over his back again and ignites both of his lightsabers, blocking and slicing. He jumps behind three guards and sticks his lightsabers into the backs of two of them, and kicks the other in the family jewels. He then snatches the guard's blaster and blows out his brains.

"This is more like it..." mutters Galder as he calls his lightsabers back to him and decapitates another guard.

Persis' men try to keep their distance, unwilling to come close as Takuan starts to work on the door.

"Keeping distances, eh?" he shouts to the guards. He brings out a grenade at tosses it in their direction, then unslings his multipurpose rifle. He arms it with pulse cannon and begins firing. The purple energy makes a electronic whisping sound, and a shocking sound as it rips through the guards.

It's awkward, having to protect Takuan is cramping your style. You are not used to co-operative work!

"Hurry up, Takuan! I'll fight better when I'm not being your guardian angel!" shouts Galder.
