Galder throws his comlink on the ground in frustration.

Takuan activates his comlink:
"nayler...come in, nayler..."
He adresses the others. "If ascar even suspects all that commotion is for our interest then he's as good for helping us in the future dead as he would be alive. "
he checks the damaged hovercarft once more. i do hope they get it he thinks.
"hey...what do we do with this one?" says takuan pointing at the exhausted driver.
(i remember taking him with us)

The hovercraft is falling. The Jedi have clearly disabled it. Irritating that they were there; either they predicted your move or the Force was with them this day.

"at least they have other hovercrafts working..."says Takuan. {i]what's taking so long[/i]. He starts looking around the building checking for potential dangers to them.

Nothing is taking so long, guys! Just no matter which way you look at it that fight is going to be finished by the time you get there. The whole thing won't take more than a minute.

"where are they supposed to meet us if they take it? we should wait for thme there..." says Takuan to the others.

... but the lift ride to the floor may take another minute, and then there is the security down there... it is by no means pointless you running there, just that time-wise I have to be dictated by the Light Side thread.

"we should clear the security around the building" says Takuan. "we must secure their retrieval...let's go" he adds before looking around again for incoming lightside reinforcements.

"Good idea, Takuan..." says Galder.

"ok then, time is short.." says takuan heading for the gathered security at the base of Ascar's building. He reaches for his saber and helds it steadily not ignited in his right arm.

Galder, still carrying both sabers, marches into the building.

(i assume they are around the building mostly)

Sorry, did I tell you that you were at the building at any point? You are not.

You are now in the downtown area approaching Ascar's building. However, the appraoch to the plaza it lies in that you are using appears to be blockaded. Thge barrier is manned by what looks like some of Persis' security men.

takuan analyses the security forces. He has his lightsaber in a hand and a thermal detonator in the other. Still, he hopes the heavy equipment won't be necessary. He looks for some way to disperse the troops out of there, so that nayler can retreat with the astrolabe..if he got it.

The blockade is somewhat sparse. Persis doesn't have enough men to ring the entire plaza and also guard the building.

There seems to be a camera probe floating vaguely towards you, high and out of reach.

Galder quickly tosses a few grenades at the largest groups of security guards, and then takes out his rifle. He blasts at the camera.

(I see Galder has decided on the diplomatic solution again...)

Using your sabre to defend yourself, you throw the grenades, which explode soon afterwards. Soon, there are volleys of gunfire coming back in your direction.
