USH'S GAME EPISODE III- 'ARTIFACT'. Dark Side area

You keep thinking every time you block a shot meant for him, one is going to get YOU... you can't move far from him either!

Galder tosses two grenades towards the sides of the room and one to the center. He then throws his blue saber, it's cold light slicing through a couple of guards and returning to him.

(Room? You are outside! it's poor grenade using territory)

Takuan makes as fast of a work as possible. he minds any shot that might still hit him. His green blade pierces the building's blastdoor. As it goes through takuan inflicts a force wave ment to clear the melted metal away more than simple gravity would do.
"anytime now" he says to gald

There is a loud CRASH as the bulkhead fails and falls forwards. it's on the hot side but the two of you can quickly run inside, where you feel the presences of others nearby and danger ahead.

Entering the building, Takuan is carefull on both the frontal dangers, as the ones that might come from behind them. The tip of his green blade maintains at shoulders level. He slowly advances, as he can't hear Nayler yet.

You run into the main area. Inside a small office with clear walls, Ascar and Persis stand, eyeing you two as you enter. A large number of Persis' guards are around. More alamringly, the Jedi are some ten feet from Ascar, with their Master having activated her sabre- though not the sabre you have seen her use before, Galder. Ascar speaks.

"Gentlemen, I do rather suspect you are not welcome here at this time," says Ascar. "Though I believe it to be the good fortune for the Jedi that they have found two of the desperate criminals they were searching for. You must be delighted, Master Gundark."

Gundark turns to you two.

"Where did you boss run off to, Galder ?"

She does not, of course, recognise you, Takuan, though you may answer,

Takuan prepares himself for a potential burst of the situation. He hopes not though he'll be ready to act. They're a bit outnumbered.

There are six Jedi here- Master Gundark, of course. That Geonosian one you saw on Damagran. A male and a female you do not recall seeing before. And an older man who stands near Gundark, with the same stature of leadership.

The sixth is Lance, but he seems wounded.

"our boss' location has no rellevance to our current situation, i'm affraid" says Takuan staring at the six

"Don't worry about Kuylen," comes a deep voice from behind you, as the bulk of Chion advances into the room. "Worry about me."

He reaches behiund him and takes his sabre from his position behind his back, holds it towards the Jedi, and ignites it.

(It's Galder who recognises them, not you, Takuan)

Takuan looks at Chion agressive manouver.
"maybe we can settle this more smoothly?" he asks him.

"The Jedi, eh? What a coincidence. We were just coming to see Ascar as well." Galder looks at Ascar. "So, hand over the Astrolabe and maybe I won't rip off your head as a trophy. It would be rather unpleasant for you, wouldn't it? And now I finally have the chance to kill that bastard Persis..."

Galder backs up a little and whispers in Takuan's ear. "Throw the detonator..."

The detonator would kill you at this range, doubly so as there are JEDI in the room (never, ever, use a thrown weapon against a Jedi, especially when they outnumber you)

Chion looks at you as if you are something he trod on, Takuan. It must be said, there is no negotiating position with the Jedi you can reach. They are here to arrest you or kill you.

"Brave, but foolish, boy, to make such threats with the Jedi staring you in the face," says Ascar. He then gestures over to the area behind the Jedi, where they seem to have put down the Astrolabe, clearly in the Jedi's possession. "But you can have that if you want it."

"i don't assume you're in a much better position than ours towards jedi.
well..then, glad to see we have no trouble about the oject" says Takuan already inflicting a flow that raises and approaches the astrolabe towards them.
"what made you change your mind?" he asks

Well, that's going to have to await a response from the Jedi...

...but Takuan, he hasn't changed his mind. You can sense that.

Takuan tries to figure how can he not changing his mind and him handing them the astrolabe connect. He focuses on that feeling.

Damn that Ascar, he has a pretty damn intractable mind...

"Okay, Ascar, I sense somethin fishy here. Giving the Astrolabe so freely? Not in your character, Ascar. Not at all," says Galder, pointing the red lightsaber at him.
