Anakin Skywalker(RotS) VS Darth Malak

The setting is the sloop hangar on Geonosis, as seen in Episode II.
Anakin and Malak approach each other, lightsaber in hand.
They both use the Force.

Who wins this fight?

Malak vs. ROTS Anakin ahs been done, the general consensus Malak > Skywalker. I think that most people would say their close in saber skills but Malak is stronegr with the Force. I mostly agree with that.

Don't you think since Anakin has fought Dark siders before, he would actively avoid most of Malak's Dark side attacks, so to speak?

Anakin in swordfighting, Malak probably in force powers. Though as with Anakin vs Dooku, Dooku's force powers were said to be useless when he was fighting Anakin when Anakin went in for the kill. And I'd put Dooku's powers above Malak's...

Well, I agree with you that Anakin would just barely be able to defeat Malak, but Malak was probally at least slightly stronger in his Force Abilities than Dooku.
Examplified by his use of Life Drain, and the whopping load of other Dark abilities he utilised in combat.

Although, I have to say, your point certainly holds much in the way of merit.

I don't think drain is enough to put him at Dooku's level. Dooku choked council master Obi-Wan like nothing, ripped apart roofs, balconys, walls, machines, you name it. He took out very powerful jedi with lightning as well. The fact that he has about twice the force experience that Malak has doesn't make it more fair....

Alrighty, So, who wins this fight then?

Malak > Anakin in the Force.

However, Dooku and Malak are said to be equal in ability, and since Dooku lost to Anakin, I will say Anakin > Malak

In the Malak vs. ROTS Sidious thread most votes went to Malak, though, and if Malak > Sidious then he also > Anakin.

Malak is not superior to Sidious.. Anakin is superior with the saber, Malak is superior with the force. Its a toss up.

Never said that Malak was superior to Sidious, just said that most of the people in the thread tought so. I said Sidious wins cause I was under the impression that Malak = Dooku. Now, however, I say Malak = Mace, probably.

Yeah, and when Sadow could take DE Sidious easily despite Sidious' ability to rip apart fleets, and Sadow's ability to throw one friggin' brick.

Anyway Anakin wins. Why? Because Malak is an idiot, and Anakin has beat Durge, Asajj, and Dooku.

Also, Anakin clearly has a lot more sex appeal than Malak.

I don't know, Malak was sexy when he had a jaw. And his muscle shirts are a killer.
