Above the likes of Obi-Wan, Grievous, Sora, Maul, etc. A little more impressive, I'd say.
No, not really dear lady....
Let's see, his displays of Force mastery suggests his power is tremendous (and what did Malak ever do with the Force that was impressive, btw? Choking a guard? Lol. Dooku choked out Komari Vosa.). There's the fact ROTS Obi-Wan isn't even a match for Dooku's Force power, he was owned at literally the flick of the wrist:
I suppose you decided not to include the nice little bit about him WTFpwning those two Jedi knights at the Star Forge then...
Yes we are talking about two Jedi knights that managed to reach Darth Malak, undoubtedly fighting dark Jedi and droids that were described as being stronger than a fully trained Jedi Knight (which in that time was fairly powerful.)
Despite this he pwned them simulataneously with lightning+saber throw whilst lifting them up in the air while speaking to Revan. He dispatches of strong Jedi knights with ease.
For the record, I don't remember Malak choking any of his guards... How much do you really know about KOTOR?
He was able to completely revitalize himself using just the Force (ROTS novel),
Sounds like a simple manipulation of the force to heal oneself...Again not uncommon to many a lowly Jedi knight.
suggesting he doesn't need some dumbass Jedi captives to do it, lol.
Different context. Malak was fighting in the battle of his life against his old master. Riddle me this fiddler, does Malak have time to heal himself while his master is WTFpwning him? Obviously not... Also it is mentioned in the dark side sourcebook: Using a mysterious power source as yet undiscovered (complete Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to learn more), Darth Malak possesses extraordinary dark side Force powers. Clearly the Jedi and the Forge were used for more than just simple healing...
We know he's obviously a proficient Force lightning user by his displays in AOTC, and other various things. He was able to own Sora Bulq, and knock him out with Force lightning:
How many dark Jedi did Sora Bulq fight before Dooku? I count Nil. Sora was never familiar with defending against any dark Jedi (and the associated repertoire of darkside abilities), so undoubtedly had his ass handed back to him.
"Physically, the Count's age was rarely a handicap. Deft as he had become with the Force-unimaginably more subtle than the boy who had watched water-skeeters in the Jedi gardens all those years ago-he wore his eighty-three standard years better than most humans half his age. He was still in superb physical shape, senses keen, health undiminished by even the memory of a cold."
I never argued that the Count’s age was a significant factor in losing, but only a fool would argue the older you get (past 30) the stronger you get. Malak is still physically stronger by virtue of his sheer frame and youth.
Roughly 80+ years of it. Since we know he was trained as a youngling, he has about 70+ years experience as a Jedi, and 13 years as a Sith Lord.
Explain why “Count” ****ing “Superman” was only able to stalemate a weaker Mace Windu with his +40 years of extra experience (His droids came in last minute). The extra years, it seems, were never demonstrated as being a real benefit…
Calling him the strongest student, and one that has learned the most.
And..? Vandaar described Revan and Malak as also being the strongest students that his Jedi council ever trained.
Lets look at facts. Anakin won against Dooku by virtue of the fact that his saber form was designed to counter Makashi.
Let me ask this question. Malak does not use Makashi (his form is unique, incorporating a lightsaber that is far larger than conventional blades), so can you prove that Anakin can defeat the “second best” duelist of the KOTOR times? No, I did not think so.
Riddle me this, fiddler: why'd you say it, and when someone brings up it - you say "it's unknown, I have no proof"?
Do you have any proof to state that if the context were different (when he is not fighting a Makashi user who is in fact weak against Shien) that he would win? No, so how do you explain that Anakin is greater?
In either case, you have nothing to deduce from that gives hint Malak beat Kavar's ass. So, as I just said, no proof - no argument.
... We can draw an inference as I stated before. From what Vandaar and Canderous stated, we infer logically that Malak won, and by a significant margin.
Vandar might've felt Revan was more than a match
Falsifiable. Lets look at the probability Vandaar believing Revan wins. What is the chance that a Jedi who just lost his memory would regain it in matter of weeks and grow prodigiously enough in power to defeat the current reigning dark lord? Very low… If Vandaar believed that he himself could remove the “head” of the beast (which is Malak’s order) he would have sure as hell boarded the Star Forge. I have already taken into account he is the same race as Yoda, and thus possesses a natural affinity with the light side of the force.
Given that Vandaar is the head of the council, his power in the force and dueling abilities are great .
-Lets not forget how he mentions that Malak is too powerful for the Jedi council (yes it includes Kavar).
-Also Canderous stating that "I thought you died against Malak." That statement would not make any sense if Kavar were the one believed to have the upperhand in the battle against Malak.
That is enough evidence to draw an inference, that is Malak won the duel against Kavar.
