As for invisible he would have to silent and invisible because they can just cast in the direction of sound or were the grass is shaped like feet, or when they get hit by one of links attacks they can cast. The only shield that I know of that has that kind of property would be the mirror shield and that only blocks projectile magic like a fire spell.
But thanks for you answers but to me it really doesn't seem like link can block all there spells, but it doesn't matter in this thread it was just something I was thinking about. laters.
Oh sorry I didn't mean shields as in "holding by your hand and blocking stuff" I mean Magical Barriers that surrond Links body. I think most if not all of them would stop Cloud's Magic. Also I'm not quite sure casting Reflect on himself would work. I mean, does the spell know to travel to Link once it's reflected off of Cloud? Since FF VII was a turn-based game I can see it working there, but I'm not sure the spell would be reflected to Links direction.
The Mirror Shield could probably block more more than just fire. Link was able to reflect magical attacks by just parrying with his normal metal shield in Twilight Princess, so I think the Mirror Shield would be able to reflect more powerful projectiles.
Finally, Link can split himself into four seperate people using the Four Sword, and can then use the Magic Cape to become Invisible. So now Cloud and Sephiroth are facing four invisible and invincible Links.
