What, that our country should be more like the netherlands?
Allow drug use and prostitution, lower our standards enough that people are so numbed by crap that they don't let themselves pull it any more?
How bout no, Scott.
It wasn't even about those two things which have absolutely nothing to do with this. It was about education your children and facing the facts... Still Germany France and whatever also score a lot better then the US and they don't allow prostitution and drugs... Still the facts there clearly show you are wrong. Education and letting kids see those things and accepting it works a hell of a lot better then ignoring it.
Your phatethic excuses are really cheap. The US way doesn't work. Statistics show it. The way the US works is wrong simple as that.
As for PVS, you got me.Kids+nudity=not thinking about sex, not having sex, no teen pregnancy or abortions.
My logic of kids shouldn't be exposed to nudity was WAY off-base.
Well obviously... When you don't see a problem it clearly goes away. I mean statistics really support that. Read for once, it might help.
Seriously, have any of you ever pulled your heads out of your liberal asses long enough to realize that people were living with a much different mind-set only 50 years ago, and they were living much better lives?
Better? How the hell were their lives better? They were living in less medical welfare in stricter family's and had far less freedoms. Woohoo better lives, besides living like that is impossible unless you throw away TV and the internet and the computer and all other stuff and trust me life wouldn't get better because of it. You would lose a lot of freedom and ability's just because you want to ignore a problem?? Again deal with it, and the problem pretty much dissapears.
But I guess all that matters is the free-expression that we have created in the last part of the 20th century, in our superiority over the inferior generations of the past, with their restricting morals, low crime, low teen pregnancy, and prosperity.
Hey those things kinda like everything the Netherlands has except for the restricting morales... Oh what do you know, freedom can work. You just don't want it to work because you don't like the kind of freedom... Guess you really thing your better then everybody else when the rest here just thinks that everybody should do what they want as long as they don't hurt anybody.
I'll leave you to your laptops and your Starbucks now, I'm glad you've made the world so much "better" for everybody.
Crime rate in Holland is lower, gun shootings in Holland are lower. Abortian which are legal everywhere happens less, there are less teen pregnancy's, rapes have gone down since prostitution was legalised... Drug use has gone downsince soft-drugs were legalised, drug addiction has gone down a lot since soft-drugs were legalised.
Children here don't have as much alcoholic driving incidents as in the US, because we can drink at 16.
What Holland does is accept things, then deals with it and everybody gets better because of it. The US just ingores it. Way to solve those things. It has clearly worked when Hollands methods have clearly failed. Everybody can see that, even when all statistics point the other way.
