Medical science not being advanced enough to properly recognize such things does not mean they did not exist.

Sith, the idea that showing these kids a work of art that has nudity will somehow lead to pregnancy and sex is one of the most inherently idiotic slipper slopes I've ever seen. Exposing kids to nudity in an innocent manner will not harm them in anyway. It's just the nude human body, you know, the way god made us, right?

Also, you seem to think that educating children about sex is wrong, and they should be left to hear about first from their friends older brother and his playboy collection or from TV. Teaching it in a sterile and safe environment and in a responsible manner, including the risks and knowledge of the necessary safety precautions is much better for them.

These days kids are going to hear about sex at a much younger age then most would like, since it's all over the TV and society as a whole. It's best they learn about in school than from their friends or from the weird guy who lives up the street.

Of course they did. The difference is that they didn't talk about them and pretended they were wrong and morally impure. People in the 50's ****ED! that's why there was a 60's and a 70's and an 80's, etc.

you want to cite "standards and morals", but they didn't really exist. They were just glossed over. That's why pregnant teenagers were sent away to have their babies in secret. You're a fool if you think today's sexual promiscuity is any different or more profound than it was in those days. After all, you talked your wife into premarital sex, just as easily as did your 50's counterpart.

If you want to praise mothers who don't abort their babies, then you should realize that so many in the 50's did so because of people like you. If they could raise their children as teenages, they would have. But people who ascribe to your point of view wanted them sent off to camps and religious orders. Still Germany France and whatever also score a lot better then the US and they don't allow prostitution and drugs... Still the facts there clearly show you are wrong. Crime rate in Holland is lower, gun shootings in Holland are lower. Abortian which are legal everywhere happens less, there are less teen pregnancy's, rapes have gone down since prostitution was legalised... Drug use has gone downsince soft-drugs were legalised, drug addiction has gone down a lot since soft-drugs were legalised.

Children here don't have as much alcoholic driving incidents as in the US, because we can drink at 16.

What Holland does is accept things, then deals with it and everybody gets better because of it. The US just ingores it. Way to solve those things. It has clearly worked when Hollands methods have clearly failed. Everybody can see that, even when all statistics point the other way.
