Hmm, it is interesting that Jesus is a Man (the God-Man). It is equally interesting that Adam was the first man (that he was created first). It is noteworthy that only a man carries the y chromosome that creates another man. Yeah, God is a He. Stop and think about it: if God were a she debbiejo then why didnt' she create Eve first? Why didn't she make Eve stronger than a man? Hmmm...things that make you go hmmmm. Not to mention that we live in a man's world. This doesn't take anything away from the woman. I love women. You all are so tender, sexy (oops, can I say that on this forum? 😕 smart, talented, beautiful etc. But, you are not a man. Why would you want to be a man when you all have the corner on being a woman? No man can ever be what you are. Some men "think" that they are a woman or try to make themselves a woman, but I don't like counterfeits.
Anyhoo, God is a He.
One day in the Garden of Eden, Eve calls out to God.
"Lord, I have a problem!"
"What's the problem, Eve?"
"Lord, I know you created me and provided this beautiful garden and all of these wonderful animals and that hilarious comedic snake, but I'm just not happy."
"Why is that, Eve?" came the reply from above.
"Lord, I am lonely, and I'm sick to death of apples."
"Well, Eve, in that case, I have a solution. I shall create a man for you."
"What's a man, Lord?"
"This man will be a flawed creature, with many bad traits. He'll lie, cheat, and be vain; all in all, he'll give you a hard time. But he'll be bigger, faster, and will like to hunt and kill things. He will look silly when he's aroused, but since you've been complaining, I'll create him in such a way that he will satisfy your physical needs. He will be witless and will revel in childish things like fighting and kicking a ball about. He won't be too smart, so he'll also need your advice to think properly."
"Sounds great." says Eve, with an ironically raised eyebrow. What's the catch, Lord?"
"Well ... you can have him on one condition."
"What's that, Lord?"
"As I said, he'll be proud, arrogant, and self-admiring ... So you'll have to let him believe that I made him first. Just remember, it's our little secret...
"You know, woman to woman."
Sorry, I couldn't resist.....lol
Actually I see god as neither male nor female.

If man was first than why isn't the Y chromosome the dominate one? Why wouldn't it be YY (Male) and YX (Female)? Also it is funny that YOU are giving God human ideology about ego, why would it make a difference if God created its gender first?

YY Males do exist, but usually live a very short painful life.

Irony. A creationist crackpot cites the Y chromosome as evidence for "god" being male, in ignorant bliss that the Y chromosome didn't just spring about from nowhere and actually evolved from a proto-Y chromosome homologous to a proto-X chromosome, which has become the current X chromosome.
Oh yeah, last time I responded to your post I said that I would not ever reply to your post. I just remembered.

I was not trying to be dogmatic about the situation. I was just trying to have fun with it. But God is a "He."

Originally posted by JesusIsAliveBut the logic that you posted for it was flawed and comical at best. Why would God have a gender at all? This would imply that he has an X and Y chromosome and that would mean that he was made like us which would mean that he was born.

How? God is omnipotent and sexless, but He is masculine in nature.
Masculine in nature? Anyone who is sexless is not masculine.

God's masculinity is not derived from or predicated on having sexual organs. God does not procreate; therefore, He has no need for a sex organ. One of the purposes of sex is to procreate and reproduce. But God is still a "He."
