its certain that JIA will not admit he was mistaken, so with that said, will he:

A-never address the issue in this thread again (or at least till he thinks that everyone forgot about it)

or

B-try to spin the first ammendment to mean nothing pertaining to the separation of church and state, regardless of how clearly stated it is?

my bet goes with B.

anyone>?

C.

Quotes about 37 irrelevant passages from the Bible about Daniel and some lions....

D. All of the Above.

Its not hard to see why Christians hated the Romans and why they ostracised themselves from society.

ok, 2 can play this copout game

now you show me the phrase "jesus died for our sins" in the bible.
oh, you cant? so it never happened then.

In my shrewdness, I knew beforehand that someone would quote that statement. But you didn’t meet the requirements of my offer.

Listen closely, I said, show me the phrase "separation of church and state" in the U.S. Constitution and I will send you money.

Did you do that? No, you didn’t. I was very specific because that statement does not exist. The quote that you produced does not mean or say separation of church and state. It says nothing of the sort. It just basically states that Congress will make no law respecting an establishment of religion (in other words, we are free to believe what we want without Congress enacting a uniform law about what it’s citizens are required to believe with regard to religion), or prohibiting the free exercise thereof (meaning Congress will not make any law that prevents the citizens of this nation from freely exercising their inherent right to believe what they want to believe with respect to religion.

and you're full of shit 😱

no law respecting any religion = no law governed by or based on any religion. deal with it. just because basic human codes of ethics parallel some of the commandments, doesnt mean the bible is the source of our code of ethics.

He will just ignore you, like he ignore me.

Worded exactly the way that you stated no, it does not appear in the Bible. Nevertheless, the Bible is replete with Scriptures that reveal that Jesus did in fact die for our sins. So yes, it did happen. But your statement about Congress does not mean separation of church and state.

it also forbids the prohibition of religion, thus disallowing wingnuts like you from making jewish or muslem religions outlawed

He was pointing out to you that your little game was stupid, but you didn't get it.

AKA, seperation of church and state! Just because the exact phrase is not used does not mean the concept is not in there.

Hey, JIA, want to show us where anyone said the exact phrase "seperation of church and state" was written in the Constitution?

I'll take a bullet before I let JIA's scrummy little hands get on the Constitution.

Ah yes, because you knew exactly what the Founding Fathers meant!!! Tell us more. 😱

What is your interpretation of the "Necessary and Proper" Clause? I always had a fishy feeling about it ✅

I don't want to stop people from their blankies, but Jesus is not what the church has made him to be................The founding fathers have notated god, just as they do today for votes............
