Here is a paper written by Marilyn Manson concerning Columbine, a much more thoughtful discussion than the one presented by Frank Peretti, especially considering his music was one of the things held as blame for the occurrence. A proper stance cannot be taken without considering varying positions on a subject.

All actions are a sumn of consequences anyway. Things like columbine are not linear cause and effect relationships.

There are other countries that do not teach Christianity and they do not have these kind of shootings.

That school did nothing that was beyond normal.............It was the out cased that did what they did..............just as they live amongst us,..............and this is a free country, it will happen again and did.

JIA... How long has evolution been taught in schools? Around 75 years right? Do you realize that murder, rape, thievery and generally dishonesty have been around FAR longer than that? I know where this sudden 'evolution causes moral decay' cra@p comes from,(it's also being blamed on the Amish school shooting) the Columbine school shooting is being blamed on evolution teachings because the scumbags are claiming that evolution theory lead them to it i.e. the strong survive and one of the kids had a t-shirt printed with "Natural Selection". Both are a FAR reach.

Here's the thing though, do you blame evolution teachings or do you blame the people for their own actions? If you choose to blame evolution and pass the buck, then in all fairness you must then equally or to a greater extent blame God and Religion (Christianity included) as the cause of murder and crimes since there have being many cases when nutjob murders have claimed that "God told me to do it". One fairly recent example, Paul Jennings Hill a Presbyterian minister, he murdered two people because of "God's will"; do you blame God & Christianity on the murders or do you blame the nutjob Paul Hill?

You talk about evolution,............well that may just be true, but not only in this way.............all things changes and that includes thoughts and experiences.................
