thats not true. They had the kiss written in FIRST and then removed it..Keria suggested it be put back in again but they were already thinking about putting it back in ANYWAY..

this is a Will trhead yes..but I dont have to like him and talk about him at the same time.

also had the kiss not been there..that almost kiss before she leaves him would have been..and how OBVIOUS would that have been to where the next movie might head?

um, we;ve dealt with that "the kiss was keira's idea" on a different thread, and refuted it accordingly. it had very little to do with keira. it was the writer's idea. they dont re-write a film to fit their actors' preferences. sorry.

anyways back to my question.

that kiss is the single most signifcant event in the entire movie.

everything BEFORE hand was leading UP to it..you really think that there would be no kiss after EVEYTRHING that lead UP to it earlier on in the movie?

why even bring up the whole notion that Elizabeth is desperate to kiss jack in the curiosty scene?

because LATER ON its going to happen. They obviouslty decided long before they had started to film that they wanted a kiss in there at the end.

even on podcast T&T were talking about their first ideas of a Jack/Liz onscreen kiss before even WRITING the script.

I cant help my avatar/sig..I aint changing it just to suit this thread.

why would it have mattered if they chose someone else, its not like you could have done much with his character

'n just so you know keira said that she was in a car with orlando when she found out she had to kiss johnny, so it wasn't her original idea, though they do take it out, and she does say she asked for them to put it back it-she did not demand it, gosh dont put words in her mouth!

No she could have used many other means to chain Jack there..hence the fact he basically says it to her in the NEXT MOVIE..and if THAT was the only reason why she kissed him at the end then that means the curiosty scene is pointless..yeah there is a 10 minute pointless scene in DMC.. She obviously wanted a kiss from him there but didnt get it.

and if thats ALL the kiss was care to explain to me why she almost kissed him again afterward?? cuz she wants him!...BADLY

Ok sure she "only" gave him that kiss to "ONLY" chain him up...after the whole movie leading up to her kissing him...and even the after the almost kiss she gives him before she leaves..sure the kiss meant nothing to her whilst she did it 🙄

OK so you say, that was the only reason she cuffed Jack to the ship. Perhaps, but all clues and evidence doesn't suggest that. How absurd is that people demand that J/L should be together. Seriously have you heard yourself? Manipulate the writers so we can have a J/L ending. Come on keep searching for more excuses, you guys are doomed.
Oh and if the J/L shippers leave this thread, you are probably going to end up talking to yourself. There isn't going to be anyone that you can talk to.
