This is what I always thought.
I always resort to this...but...
In the future, notions of "genetic relations" won't matter much because we will design our offspring from the ground up. There will literally be not legitimate reason to forbid brother and sister (or whatever else) to get together, especially if they did not grow up together.
We may get insta-wisdom, though...by download. gaspity. That means no age of consent is necessary, either.
Are we even prepared for such a future of 'insta-knowledge'? We could potentially have a computer design and make a child between a 5 year old and a 70 year old. 😬
Man, these arguments seem so...insignificant in the face of what the future holds Are our children's children going to laugh at how much we argued about these things (incest, abortion, stem cells, murder)?
