It's Quentin Tarantino, it's bound to be great. All around the previews I have seen for it make me counting down the days till it comes out.

Not seen Kill Bill? Glorified msuic video that I didn't find amusing nor clever.

I've Rodgriegez' part of Grindhouse is much better than Tarantino's.

Kill Bill was genius. Artful storytelling, spectacularly stylistic. I thought it was amazing.

Stylistic indulgence more like. I don't like being dramatic and walking out of films, but I did to this one.

I saw Grindhouse earlier today and it was awesome. Both movies were great, though I did enjoy Planet Terror just a bit more than Deathproof, but the whole experience was well worth it.

The fake trailers were hilarious, especially "Don't", I couldn't stop laughing at it.

I got back from watching Grindhouse a few hours ago and I loved it. I thought both flicks were great although there was a little to much talk in Death Proof for me but the parts with Russell were amazing. Stunts on the other hand were first-class in Death Proof and Planet Terror as well. I knew the film was going to be great as soon as the "trailer" for Machette appeared, all the trailers were great.

Though both films were fun and fullfiling, i thought death proof was the better of the two, it felt like it was almost a real movie. Something about hot chicks in a badass muscle car chasing down and intimidating the villian just works so well

I started laughing when Kurt Russel started crying and whining. 😂

I wonder how the hell someone could do stunts like that when the chick is on the hood of the damn car.

Grindhouse was a lot of fun.

I definitely enjoyed Planet Terror much much more, it was just fun throughout.

Death Proof was way too slow, too much stupid girls talking about gibberish and not enough substance, I know Tarintino likes his dialogue, but it was just too much in this one, plus I didn't like how Kurt Russel's character became a huge pussy at the end and basically got his ass handed to him.

The biggest plus, shockingly enough, was Eli Roth's trailer for Thanksgiving, by far the best of all the trailers and maybe the best part of the entire experience, some hilarious stuff in there. Maybe Eli Roth's best creation so far.

Zoe Bell is a real stuntwoman if I remember correctly.

.

I thought that was the best part, It came out of left field for me, when the victims became the masochists.

If Planet Terror wasn't absolute shit, this would be my favorite experience at the theater.

I remember hearing that somewhere before but it blew my mind last night.

That chase scene was awesome.

I didn't have a problem with the victims becoming masochists, just how his character became a big blubbering cry baby so quickly, he was like a badass interesting villain who was intimidating, then at the first sign of trouble he starts crying and begging for mercy, really disappointing.

I can deffenintly understand where your comming from Backfire, Especially seeing how his car was "death proof" I just think had Russel kept his composed badass'ness during the struggle when the victims found their safe zone, the movie would have become redundant for what it was. I'm assuming this angle was done for humor, considering the overly extended scene where Russel was attending to his bullet would. Or maybe he was just trying to introduce a little bit of reality to a character which warrented a cemented movie stereoytype.

It seems that most human predators do become little bithces when taken out of their control zone

Best Movie of the Year IMO.

What a good movie... 'Planet Terror' had the killing, blood and grotesqueness, when 'Death Proof' had the Thriller and suspense. I was disappointed slightly at the end of 'Planet Terror'.

Overall, 4.5 Stars out of 5.

... Anyone else notice how they tied in each movie to each other?

I was expecting Robert Rodriguez to be in Death Proof after seeing Tarantino in Planet Terror.
