I guarantee you 99 percent of women have no clue hank Pym hit his wife. And Disney wouldn't likely be the ones to bring that to light onscreen.

Seriously how is this situation any different to the Ultimate comics, You don't see them rehasing the same stories which was used in the main comics.

The fact you don't see a difference disturbs me. If this was an A lister with this many changes and missing pieces. Now before you misinterpret what im saying, no dont pull a watchmen and use one arc & that only with no room for changes. There are plenty of things that should be probably shoo'd away for a film adaptation like the age gap between Jan & Hank but honestly who would want to see a Batman movie that can't reference Arkham or the Joker?

So if this was Superman the movie in a world that never had any other Superman movies is going to star Connor Kent and an Old Superman who isn't an alien & never left the earth & the badguy is Black suit mullet Superman. You see no issues here? Also no lois & we get earth random # supergirl as a love intrest.
