I would be fine if gays got married in a religion outside Christianity. Christian marriage is a man and women united under God. And no atheists should not get married it is pointless to them too. Gay Christians should not get married and gay Buddhists could potentially get married outside Christianity. I also agree with Adam Poe that any Gay man or Lesbian Woman who still wants to get married in a Christian Church is either in denial or just idiotic....
MArriage is NOT simply a religious ceremony, however. It preceded religion, which is what you do not understand. Marriage, and all its priveleges are provided by government, NOT the Church.
MArriage was NOT designed by God, it existed WAY BEFORE the concept of your God and Christianity did....
