Except that the fact stays that it IS Superman, and has only been 'retconned' out of current but not classic continuity. And considering the original post doesn't explain which, and he is classic, mainstream DC, Superman, he counts.

He doesnt count. That is Pre-Crisis Superman and he would f*** current Superman up.

I'm just going to say this. You cant accept one and not accept the other. I clearly showed you Ironman making it to the sun in a couple of panels from earth. He made it there in FAR less panels. So was Ironman flying at light speed or not. I showed you Despero also doing the same thing, so was Despero flying at light speed?

You cant accept one feat from one character and not accept it from another.

You didn't post where Ironman made it to the sun, nor did you post where he first took off. In addition, there's no trails behind Ironman to show he got there very fast (remember, by your own admission, the trails behind Superman indicates that he WAS moving fast). Also, I don't recall the Despero thing.

Who said anything about "accepting" a feat? I'm simply pointing how these feats aren't the same. And I suggest you listen to how you sound for once:

"Superman made it to the sun and he was moving real fast because of the trails, but he wasn't moving at lightspeed"

"Burter and Jeice were flying real fast and they had trails behind them, I think they are lightspeed."

Looking at how Supes did in the "alternative" video compared to how Goku did in this one, I think the author is a little biased. Just a little. 😄

And I'm someone who thinks enough energy to shake the DBZ-verse at SSJ3 gives Goku fair odds of matching the man of steel.

I agree, against Pre-Crisis, its no contest.

Regular Superman, Goku Stomps and easily at that.

Superman made it to the sun on a time that was not given so we dont know how long it took him to make it to the sun. Even though he made it, I dont doubt that he could make it in an environment like space because again, there is nothing holding his speed back.

We have All Star Superman (stronger than mainstream Superman) building a device to help him walk on a planet that had the gravity of 10 times earths gravity and then we have Superman under his own admission stating that earth gravity take its toll on his powers THEN we have Superman (even though he was weakened) straining on a planet with 100 times earths gravity whereas an injured and overly trained Vegeta was walking around just fine in 300 times earth gravity (black hair at that).

where was this 300x gravity at?

Filler training arc of the Cell Saga. I do believe it was only filler anyway.

I was just trying to see carver9's response honestly.

I've heard some people even argue that Goku would win that match too. Just wanted to see how hardcore your faith in Goku is.

It wasnt filler, I know that part wasnt filler at all.

Yup. Even Vegeta asked Bulma's father to create a room which contains 300x gravity and that was happened in manga too.

Yep, I know and again, I put a scan up a while back showing Superman almost passing out due to a gravitational environment of 100 times earths gravity.

But don't forget, Superman has been weakened in Post Crisis.

And is the first post specific?

Oh... but when Carver asked those question, there's only current Superman in my head. And I thought you're saying that PC Superman has no differences with current Superman's power even though it's already retconned. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

😮 Okay the part of him training in it was filler...And the part with Yamcha going into it and all that. But him asking Dr. Briefs to wasn't so he would have trained in it.
