If you separate Wolverine's skull from his body, he will die according to the files Xavier had on all the mutants. When Cerebro carried this out on replicas of the x-men, it worked.
Guggenheim's one incident was PIS, and Wolverine DID die.
Well, the skull and the brain are too different things. I can see him not regrowing a whole skull, but a brain I think he can. There has been multiple times where his brain was obviously destroyed, not just one, and Logan still regenerated eventually.
So if it's his skull, do you think Vegeta is strong enough to separate his skull from his vertebrae?

He managed to hurt Hulk, sure, which is PIS, but when Hulk attacked it appeared to severely fvck Cap up.
