The thought of bouncing/reflecting something back or away and hurting you is pretty stupid. Thats like saying all of the deflected ki blasts hurt the deflector.

Actually no your still wrong.Only Krillin screamed out Gohan because he had no idea what the attack was to him it just looked like a normal Ki attack,Goku plainly said "You don't have a evil chi you can bounce it back" which means it won't hurt you as your not evil if he was it would have exploded on him exactly like it did Vegeta.You seem to be the only one ignoring the facts and making stuff up.

I'm just using the manga portrayal. Kaioh was included, he thought too that it was over because genkidama is going to hit Gohan. Like I said before, it wasn't stated how will genkidama work against evil or good.

Kaioh never mastered the technique. Also he was upset because it missed Vegeta, not because it was going to hit Gohan. You didn't see Kaioh getting upset when Chaotzu, Piccolo, or anyone else died in that battle, all he cared about was defeating Vegeta. He thought since it missed Goku has no chance to defeat him, he didn't expect Gohan to do that and hit.
