Well, to the religious, I'm sure it still is.

I celebrate secular Christmas myself (amongst my Catholic family, of course), where I feel fortunate to hang around with my family, most of which I don't see for a good part of the year, especially now that I'm at college. So Christmas is a very special time of the year for me, I've never been caught up in the commercialism.

Well, I tend to stare at myself in the mirror from time to time, so I believe I can answer that: Sometimes I'm looking for blackheads. Sometimes I'm seeing how tired I look (usually very tired, I have permanent dark circles, it seems). Other times I'm trying to convince myself that I'm somewhat attractive.
