In my opinion if someone like supergirl can take the ring out of one of the Gl's (John Stewart) noses before he even know it was gone, if deathstroke can stop one (Kyle Rayner) by crushing his fingers then what chance pray tell does Mr. Rayner stand against the double 'S'.

do you know that when kyle re-made his ring he made it so it would come back to him if it was ever taken?

and it wont even matter if kyles ring is taken cause he has used it without wearing it.

I dont get why people think Surfer beats Kyle easily? If either wins its by a very small majority. Id personally go for Kyle though.

maybe because surfer just absorbs the energy that Kyle generates and SS will become stronger by it.
