Seems to me, that Shazam was really just trying to save both Billy and Superman.
Billy would've been forced to disable, if not kill Superman.
Superman, being amped by Eclipso, was intent on getting Billy angry so he could take control of him.
Shazam saved Billy from Eclipso, not Superman.
With out a doubt in my mind Superman takes this. Superman although being vulnerable to magic, really doesnt make much of a difference. Supes can just heal the damage from a magic attack. But its not like Marvel would actually land a hit in the first place, Superman being much more faster them him would just use his super speed and it would be over in a matter of minutes.
