Nothing better to say....I guess? They also gave another explanation in that passage...a specialized Thermokinesis(Which in itself is a part of Atmokinesis)....which means she covects air currents via thermal energy...therefore manipulating weather patterns...and creating elements.
The atmosphere is in constant motion. When air sinks, we have good clear weather and the ai is stable. When air rises, is is unstable and cloudy and murky weather. By generating heat or cold, Storm could cause air to rise or fall.

What makes you say...sky lightning is slower then the discharge of her hand lightning. When the one from the sky still has to be formed by manipulating weather patterns and also has to travel a further distance.

I just corrected you when you said Storm didn’t have telekinesis. While she doesn’t possess tradition telekinesis, she does possess a specialized form of telekinesis. According to Marvel, you can only manipulate matter with one kinds of mental energy (telekinesis or psychokinesis), which I pointed out to you when I gave you the quotes from the “Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe”.

You could even say she drawing lightning/energy to her hands to form a mild-attack in a training session. The electrical energy should move at the same speed as lightning but given that she was using her hands as focal pointes, you can see where she aiming the attack. It like Batman, Captain America, Black Widow and all the other normal people who can dodge laser and gunfire attacks, if you can see it coming from somebody hand then you can dodge it.

I showed you a scan where she says she doesn't have telekinesis. You were trying to pass off her powers as True Telekinesis since X showed that scan with Psylocke. Remember the whole speed of light thing.

Yeah....Electromagnetic Energy = Energy that holds molecules together.....she manipulates weather patterns which manipulates weather patterns which summons lightning...and apparently she can use this very same power to manipulate particles and their bonds to some extent and create clothing. I do...but whenever she's attacked someone with lightning from the sky...it's usually comes from the sky. The closest thing I've seen to what you're talking about..are the mini-thunder clouds she uses to water her plants....which don't seem to pack much of a punch.

And a tk shield of Jean's power level is hundred thousand times tougher than human body.
