USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FIRST ASSIGNMENT- 'The Museum'

"If we could get moving now? We're on a metre here!" Cloud jokes, calling to his Captains

"Took your damn time," says Marduk, as he jumps onto the car roof. "Pull up by the fire exit."

"Marduk wanted you out," says Finn.

Melis puts away her phone as the Agent raises his gun, then dashes towards him, ready to fight to hold the exit...

Combat time?

"Forget the cops," Mors says, gesturing to the Vamps. "Burn, blow out their tires; Fire, Azrael, target the driver. The sooner he's down, the sooner he'll stop driving."

"Oh boy," Heph says. "Everyone...hold on to something."

Heph sends the truck barreling through the weakest part of the police blockade, smashing the smaller vehicles aside.

"Please don't flip, please don't flip..."

I unload a rain of bullets at the vampire driver.

Certainly is, Melis. You are all untapped and can go for it.

Well, Heph sure is a good driver! With a pool of sven, he gets the successes he needs to swing the fat-ass lorry around the cars, and for the Vamps behind, under fire from Azrael and Fire, to smash into the police cars themsevles!

Lorry guys are clear for the exit! You can thank melis, btw. She had the forethought to tell Finn to find a new exit.

Heph gives a victory whoop as he plows through and loses the Vamps.

"Zion- 1, Matrix- 0!" Heph shouts, speeding towards the exit. "We're out of here, ladies! OUT!"

Mors will release a sigh of relief.

Here goes nothing!

"I'm sorry, but the phone's busy. You'll have to find another!"

As Melis charges down the Agent, she jabs her staff into the ground, springing herself forwards into the air at her target. As she lets gravity take over, she brings the staff down on the Agent's forehead, tapping SS.

Swap SS for BS.

"The Agent's not going to like that...would it be possible to secure another backup exit, in case Melis needs to get out before the rest of them arrive there?" San asks Finn, watching the fight.

"No," says Finn, "in the state they are in they won't get past the police blockade."

Well, he shoots at you first, Melis, which does you for four damage.

Your blow lands on him for sevenm but it doesn't trouble him much. He swings with his left fist, but ends up elbowing you with his right for five.

"Then they'd better hurry up..."

I'm at 12, he's at 7...

Melis jabs rapidly at the Agent's chest.

Five all on this round... like all Agents, he fights without style. He just brawls straight at you.

17, 12...

Melis twirls her staff overhead before connecting it with his shoulder, then snapping the staff upwards, catching under his jaw as she flips backwards. Given the breathing room, she puts away her staff and prepares to go hand-to-hand.

He wins initiative for that round, doing you another four damage, compared to your five in return.

He closes in on you again in the round you tap HC, straightening his tie as you do so.

M11, A17...

Melis steps into him as he comes forward, snapping a nasty kick into his face.

You manage three, he manages six... your blows all seem to connect, drive him back, but with absolutely no long-term effect on his style.. He just srhugs them off, comes back at you. He's enjoying it.
