what even if will sees that Jack clearly needs her more than he does and Elizabeth obviously would love him enough to try and save him? Even if Will allowed it?

I'll just say I want Will/Liz to patch things up and get good decent closure. I want them to realize their love for eachother and get married...

but I dont want Jack to end this heartbroken and behaving like Davy Jones..IMO Liz and Will may actually agree to not let this happen. Liz may realize she loves Jack too much to allow him to go down this path and Will may let her follow her heart. Because he cant actually be with her he has his father as a main priority among other things...

We practically saw this in DMC^^ and it was a pretty closed ending..If AWE didnt exist..THAT would be the vibe I got from the ending.

I personally dont think this will be an ending where it ends tragically for either character..it should all tie up so that both ships can be happy.

Why would Will care if Jack isn't whole?

So I don't see Will letting Elizabeth go just to be nice to the semi-crazy pirate who has nearly gotten him killed several times.

And I don't think Elizabeth helping Jack has anything to do with deep love for him. She cares about Jack and wants to help him, so she does.

Nothing more to it.

And that doesn't answer my question....

Why is it ok if Elizabeth breaks Will's heart, but it's not ok to break Jack's?

first of all liz should stay with will *gosh* 🙄 how many times do i have to type it, second even if she did leave will i dont think jack is capable to love or stay faithful to her if he could love

Maybe Jack needs some love from Daddy. And Elizabeth is the one who convinces Teague that he needs to show his son some love.

That's really kind of disgusting.

Of course, I think the idea that Jack needs Elizabeth to help him gain back his love and all that stuff is kind of gross too, and really cheesy sounding. I hope that they've come up with something better than that.

And I can tell you why I don't care about Jack....It's because I don't care about Jack. I mean, I do...I want him to have some sort of happily ever after, but I don't like the idea of him being so needy. It goes against everything that his character is.

IMO its not against what his character is..he is the way he is because he is needy and he's covering it up..He's rather tragic actually...and so we see him mirror Davy Jones

Apparently we see Davy and his story and its rather sad. people will notice Jack is starting to mirror this and will probably want Elizabeth to be with him IMO

Teague is barley in it..I dont think it would have the same emotional climax in it to the audience it if he was the one who made Jack feel loved..

Its because of Elizabeth Jack is starting to mirror DJ..I bet if you saw Will behave like that because of no Liz you would be begging for Liz to just return to him..

Well the majorty of the audience would rather it be Will than the money of the movie which is Jack Sparrow being unhappy...I think they would even write in Will agreeing to Let Liz go because it doesnt realy matter to most people..I do care for his caracter really..I dont want him to be heartbroken but Jack is far more important to the future success of PoTC than Will is IMO.

If Jack leaves this movie broken and like Davy Jones..all bitter and loveless..then the majority of the audience will leave feeling like the same I can assure you

The hero will win out and we will see it happen. He wont follow the path of becoming like Davy in nature..we will see his closure I'm sure of it.

i cant wait to see all of the things we think is ganna happen and it doesnt it will be the exact opposite, well thats what always happens anyway i would rather have jack hurting than will i mean hes more of a pirate 🏴‍☠️

for Jack to actually dissown the most human side of himself because he gets abandoned ...He's obviously hurting inside far more as a character than Will Turner is..

It just bothers me that Jack appears to be mirroring DJ...and apparently he leaves the movie looking for immortality..which is even more like DJ...I think thats a horrible way for him to leave us..if its true that is..It means he's leaving us incomplete..It hasn't been resolved.

interesting how he apparently leaves looking for a means to keep his legend/legacy living on through the generations...I personally think his elixir may turn out to be different or similar but far more satisfying to the audience and it may possibly resolved in AWE itself....

Just thinking of the heart...Jack has it next to his chest...he then puts it in a Jar of Dirt and treats it as leverage...he then loses it and his emotions in that scene may be forshadowing something when it comes to him and if he loses his heart for good the music is just errie and horrible...he looked as if he was about to burst into tears..I didnt like it 🙁
