Surreal, I noticed something. I think the reason we've been cluttering up your thread a bit is because we're all lazy organizationally (well I am anyways lol). We tend to just click the thread thats on top and discuss whatever is on our minds there.

It occurred to me that even though Beckett has said that it's Jack who must find his place in the new world that it applies to Will and Elizabeth too. When he's saying World, he means the world that he's created with the EITC, progress and the like. Meaning that all of the characters must adapt to their changing world. The writers have essentially made it so that none of their characters are safe on land (so long as the British Empire exists) so I think we can safely say that their fates will lead them to a life at sea.
I know this is a Will thread, so I'll apply it to Will specfically. His world was Port Royale, his trade as a Black Smith and Elizabeth. Suddenly, we see that his livelyhood is threatened, he is an outlaw so he cannot return to Port Royale, and that the love of his life hasn't been faithful to him, or so it seems. This is Will's new world. He has to find an identity separate of what he was in Port Royale, which includes separate from Elizabeth. Also, his new identity includes his twice cursed Pirate father who is a conundrum in that he is a pirate and a good man (a trait that Will seemingly will struggle with, considering his dealings with Jack).
This movie is Will's movie because we'll see his identity develop. When Elizabeth's love is removed from his mind as his only goal, we'll see what things motivate and drive him.
Yeah, cause eventually we see each main character having to metaphorically give up their treasure--- or at least show they are willing to give it up. Jack with the pearl, Liz with her happily ever after, and Will- presumably Liz.
There's a lot Will has to square with, so to speak. The blood his twice cursed pirate father runs in his veins. He's covered the pirate bit nicely-- by adopting piraty actions when it suits him. the cursed bit? hmm. guess we'll have to wait for that one.

Dude, Monkeys are bad news in terms of pets. My dad's roommate had one once as a pet. Get something managable like a crocodile or a toy poodle.

to be honest..with everything Pirates life fo has said..none of it actually makes sense to anything or makes me clued up on whats gonna happen in AWE...I cant tell if hes hinting or just sharing an opinion(which BTW everyone is entitled to even if they work on set)
