That clips makes me so sad too because at 15 through 16 seconds you can see a very sad Jack leaning against the railing of the Pearl. He knows Elizabeth is leaving to go be with Will. Jack loves her, he sacrificed everything for her and she still goes to Will....I knew Jack would wound up a victim of unrequited love and I said that all along...me and Katelovespirates....and we said that if that happen then the trilogy would be a bust for us and that is exaclty what happened. If they would have just proven to us behind a shadow of a doubt that Jack had no feelings whatsoever for that girl, then I could have handled it...but not this. Not a sad and dejected looking Jack. Just rips my heart out. It's just hard for me to understand why she would want to be with Will just one day in ten years when she could be with Jack every day for 10 years. I mean, really. You can tell this movie was controlled by men, cause what woman in her right mind would do this.
i hate the part when Barbossa says "mrs. turner"...uggghhhh
And you know what...I wonder how Jack knows that they were married, he was fighting for his life with Davy Jones up on the mast as liz and will exchanged vows.
But you know what...Liz and Will are not really married. I thought about it last night. Barbossa married them. You have to be a Captain of a ship to marry a couple, legally. Barbossa is not Captain of the Black Pearl, Jack is. So.........

I actually thought about that alot Tigers!!! I read a wonderful fanfic (that I can't seem to find again) where Jack teases Liz about that fact....that she's not really married cause Barbossa preformed it.

If they had just made Jack look totally happy while he leaned on the railing. And then they made him talk to Elizabeth teasingly...like it was all a game for him all along. And they gave him the Pearl, and lots of rum, a faithful crew and they showed him sailing off in the sunset in search of the 'fountain of youth' as he cracked a joke or two and looked really happy...then I would be ok about it but....
NOOOOO! They have to make him look all sad and heart broken and my heart just breaks as I see the look in his gorgeouse eyes...and I want to scream at Johnny for being such a damn good, convincing actor. Up to the point where I can feel the sadness radiating through the screen...
I'm telling ye if Johnny wasn't this good...this wouldn't be so sad....too bad I love him too much to be mad at him 😄

Totally agreeing with you! Maybe that's why Keira didn't show up at any of AWE's premieres.
I like Orlando...not so much compared to Johnny but he's still some where on my favorites list you know? Like if someone in my day to day life said..."Augh! Orlando is such a whelp."
I would silently agree with that person but just for the sake of him being in POTC I would defend him.
Will?! Ummmmm....no I don't hate him. I resent him to a certain degree for taking away my Sparrabeth you know? But I can't hate him. He's a guy in love. A noble, good, selfless man (yes! rather piraty on some occassions but he would be bland without that side to him) and it's not his fault. I do find him a bit boring at times...sure he 'developed' a lot from pirates one to three but I find even THAT predictable. Of COURSE they would make him change...or else we would all fall asleep if we had to watch the same thing in every movie. But I don't HATE him.

At least they had a scene together! They had at least ONE beautiful scene together, then at the end nobody seemed depressed or heartbroken! Jack was happy with his Pearl, and didn't seem depressed at all when he was leaving Elizabeth! Agh. Disney messed up.
But that's just it, Hambah...he didn't look happy....look at that clip and look how sad he looks before she approaches him..that smile is a disguise....and I know it's all just an act...but it's very convincing....
I don't really care one way or the other about Orlando Bloom. I just don't think he is all that good of an actor...but I do like when I see him and Johnny together....Johnny seems to really like him.
Ah...I said that a while back, To Freedom. I think Keira is very disappointed with how it turned out..that's why we didn't see her at any of the premiere's...or have seen anything about her since....but then again, i guess she could just be burnt out...who knows. But I really and truly believe that Keria was rooting for Sparrabeth..you can see it and hear it in her voice when she talks about it...

Sure...even in COTBP I had a little bit of me that would've preffered that Elizabeth be with Jack but not THAT much. Not to the point of craziness. Not to the point where I want to rip my heart out.
If they'd kept it playful, light hearted and not so sad. If they just made th JE scenes less intellectual and meaningful and a bit more light...I would be fine.

Ahh. Such a shame.
But I did have such a good dream last night.
In my dream, I got the AWE DVD, put in in the DVD player on my laptop, and immediately looked at the extras. There were deleted scenes, and I clicked on the one that said "Forgiving." Now I'm not sure how this could fit into the movie lol, but it was amazing. Jack and Elizabeth were alone on deck while the Pearl was sailing out of Davy Jones' locker, and it looked like it was about 4AM. They started talking about the kiss and killing him, and he was teasing her as usual, while she obviously felt bad and was frustrated. It was like one of their normal conversations in DMC on the Pearl. I don't remember the dialogue, but he ended up forgiving her. Then they had a sweet, short kiss and hugged, and he held her for awhile. It was the sweetest thing. Too bad it was only a dream, and theres practically no chance there will be a similar scene on the DVD.
AWWWWWWWW!! Well we're bound to have a few deleted scenes with JE right? RIGHT?! RIIIIGHT?!!!!!!
