'it points to the thing you want most, in this world'

exactly...that's what Jack tells Elizabeth..and then T and T show us after that on two seperate occasions that when Liz holds the compass it points to Jack... now I know they have said that it doesn't really..but that's what the audience thinks that watches it and doesn't get on the internet and research every bit of the movie.....plus, they do say that Liz thinks it points to Jack....

and then what happens in AWE...nothing...except that the compass still isn't working for Jack in Davy's Locker....

In the commentary, one of them says that it does point to jack when shes looking at it but it swings back as she closes it.
thats just after the scene where norrington asks if she ever wondered how Will ended up on the flying dutchman.

Lol well I just thought it was cute the way he was looking at her..

it's very cute...all the flirty and lightheartedness...it was all taken away in AWE.....sure, there were funny parts in AWE..but overall, very dark, angry and bitter..oh so bitter...LOL

tangerines....i like your siggy...

ooo!!! me too!!!

The compass was only misleading you. The compass only points what you want most in that precise moment.

It's a more feeling of want. Not your heart's desire. Jack Sparrow just tricked Elizabeth into thinking that it shows you your heart's true desire. At least, that's what I came up with.

I think we have a new "compass," the charts. I remember from the AWE official movie web, Tia Dalma said something like "to read the charts, you must understand or follow Jack's heart" something like that.

Are the charts like a guide to us? Jack still wants immortality by the end of the movie (figures), so it showed him the Fountain of Youth.

Thus, another plot hole on the longest list of plot holes of all history.

right.....Mina, glad to see you. I'm still very bitter about the movie, but somehow find it hard to let go and I think because for me there was no closure. My son is begging me to take him to see it but I can't bear to go, a part of me wants to go to see Jack but the movie is so awful, I just don't think it would be something for me to enjoy with him..and to think at this time last year i was so full of hope and wonderment about DMC and what was to come...or what I thought was to come in AWE.....

Plot Holes...yes, many, many Plot Holes in AWE...the compass, the pearl, the fountain of youth, Immortality, Jack, Liz, Will, Bootstrap, Davy Jones, Tia Dalhma, Calypso, Beckett, Norrington, Gove. Swann.....even Murtock and Mullroy..and Barbossa and Teague himself...all plot holes...just a whole bunch of battles mixed in with yucky "romance" (if that's what you want to call it), a witty Jack, multiple Jacks that make no sense, A Giant Woman that disentegrates into millions of crabs, a man who's heart is stabbed and his heart must be carved out....why nobody knows.....then he is able to come back for one day and have sex on a beach and make a baby with one shot of his gun.....and meanwhile the "most fearsome Pirate in the Spanish, Main, not just the Spanish Main, the entire ocean, the entire World"....has his beloved Pearl (which at one point was only a ship, mate) stolen right out from under his very nose while he was convorting with 2 strumpets and Gibbs passed out with a bottle of rum.....and is left to go searching for the Fountain of Youth for his ever-loving immortality in a dingy with his broken compass, and his ever-loving bottle of rum......right back to where he started 2 years ago.......

oh, and this was suppose to be the greatest trilogy of all time....yes I'm bitter.....and I've been wanting to get that off my chest, thank you Mina for coming back..and reminding me what I hated about AWE......

I love the captian under your siggy..Mina....so very True......

Ah, man. Im sorry if I remind you on why AWE sucked so much lol. Wasn't my intention.

I believe AWE made things worse and more confusing. This is the first time in my life where a movie leaves me completely stupid. Ha, it may sound funny, but, it's sad because it's true.

I think I would accept Willabeth if it was done better. I never hated Will, but I actually ended up hating him and I feel guilty about it. But, I can't help it.

I can't change TnT's minds or their way of writing a script. I am more aware that it cannot end into Sparrabeth 100% as a happy ending. If the ending was going to be like Casablanca with bittersweet added to it, then, write it the way it should be. Beautifully written, not crappily written-for the movie. The novel was much better.

This movie has more plot holes than swiss cheese. They might be doing it on purpose to plan for a fourth. But, I don't think I want a fourth. From the rumors I keep hearing, it sounds like a cheap Sci Fi 60's movie.

Well, never say never. And I can't say no to something that hasn't been exactly discussed or approved. We'll see.

I know what you mean...I felt like everything that we discussed that happened in DMC was all for naught....cuz it meant nothing....I'm not even sure why they fimed DMC...to be honest....

anyway....here is the latest vid made by me and TMaria...."She's Out of My Life" by Josh Groban..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_l1LEXSNjA

Well, this morning searching around youtube I found another awesome Sparrabeth Video..and it has only AWE clips. It tells the story how Elizabeth loses everyone she loves...like her father, norrington and Will...and she has many hard times in her life...like fighting pirates, being a pirate, confronting Beckett, and Davy Jones, etc..but through it all the only thing that stays the same is that Jack is always the one there for her, she is everything she is because of Jack, and Because Jack loves her...the song is "You are Loved (don't give up)" by Josh Groban and the video is lovely and heartbreaking. And so true to Sparrabeth and what we as Sparrabethers believe...that underneath all that happens, Jack loves Elizabeth. And for me, that is the heartbreak of the Trilogy..and that they belong together, but it can never be.....(thanks to T and T, Gore, Disney, whoever...probably even Johnny himself, but I can't hate Johnny - I love him too much)

I cant hate Johnny.
