I'm not sure they did a re-shoot for the ending. First of all no pictures and secondly disney and keira and orli have all denied it and I really think they intended to do this ending all along. But I'm really starting to wonder if there was something going on...

In one of the interviews with Orli (during the April publicity blitz), he said that Will didn't get the girl.

In another interview with Johnny, he said he was surprised with the ending.

^^^I agree......something else was going on...why did it take two months after the final shootings, for them to bring back Keira and Orli with the Kid.....in Hawaii...remember when those pictures surfaced and the story of people seeing them filming in Hawaii...and Orli was there too....on "vacation"...but Lovelyone who had seen the script said the pictures matched with the ending she had read about and along with alot of personal things going on in her life made her very disappointed and confirmed that horrible ending she had read about........

Misty Pirate had pm'd me back in Feb. and said that sources over at KTTC were saying that Jack was going to help Will stab the heart because he would be mortally wounded in battle...and just as Jack is suppose to stab the heart, he and Elizabeth help Will to stab it....and that although Elizabeth would keep to her vow to stay with Will the audience would know that Jack was the one who her heart truly belonged too....and that there would be kind of a Casablanca goodbye between the two of them, something like "i love you, but we can never be together, I can't break my promise to Will"...

So the ending was almost like that, except there was no indication that Jack was the one that her heart truly belonged to. I guess you could kind of say it was Casablanca when she says "it would never have worked out between us" and Jack says "keep telling yourself that darling"...

there's one part that gets me concerning Liz....after Will stabs the heart, and Jack carries her away to the Pearl and after they defeat Beckett in Battle...they are all standing up on the helm...Liz, Barbossa, Gibbs, Jack and she looks down towards Jack and is smiling, but then hurries to hide it when Jack doesn't look back and her smile fades.....like she was hoping for the slightest indication from him....but then as soon as she looks away, he looks and smiles toward her......T and I have used it in our vids and so have many others.....
So why would Liz look down toward Jack that way and smile, but then try to hide it and then after she looks away, he finally looks and smile....

Liz thought that she was doing the right thing staying with Will. It's all because of her loyalty. Casablanca indeed. She didn't say she loved him, but her eyes were saying it when she looked at Jack... yes I think that she was looking for a sign from him. Anything. While she was leaving and saying goodbye she touched the mast. (the one she chained Jack to) Maybe it was her way of saying goodbye to the Black Pearl or maybe she was thinking about the kiss... She seemed to be unhappy there.

because keira and johnny both played it wrong, in film 2 and 3, for the ending that was chosen. they have too much chemistry and didn't reign themselves in as actors. so they played it like they loved each other when that probably wasn't the writers intentions, with the way they ended it. if it was how the writers wanted them to play it, thats just plain mean.

I don't think the actors had overwhelming chemistry - I think it was there, but I think most of the chemistry was what they put inbetween the characters - does that make sense? I realize that actors have to have good chemistry b/t them to create such a scene, but Johnny said that the scenes were unbelieveably awkward. I think the sparrabethy scenes were written in by TnT, but its been said that Keira really wanted a romantic scene with Johnny, so some of her enthusiasm probably spread over to her character (which would happen to anybody). Do you think the chemistry could be from Keira herself and Johnny's character? I definitely think there was amazing chemistry between the characters, but I don't think it was outstanding between the actors - I think they are just really talented actors. Not meaning to step on any toes, just thinking out loud.

I agree that they have outstanding chemistry. For me, every scene that they were in together throughout all three movies....it just feels as if there was this chemical pull between them.....and it's partly because they are both great performers...Johnny pours himself into any role he is playing..so much so...that he is that person even when not in performance.....between takes.....Keira has a major crush on Johnny Depp...who doesn't besides Surreal and her gang of Will lovers......so, it was easy for her to imagine that Liz is in love with Jack and attracted to Jack...and i still say that Keira wanted it to be Sparrabeth....thus her absensce since the movie's release....

I've read the interview with TnT when they said that the scripts were not given to actors to early. They were given just before shooting... However TnT knew the whole story from the beginning... So maybe the actors didn't know the ending...

this is interesting.....this was posted over at Sparrabeth.com and we were told to spread the word...so I decided to post it...very interesting....many of these gals at Sparrabeth.com and Tasty Pirates were once some of the main voices of Sparrabeth over at KTTC, but some of them have been banned, their accounts deleted and Sparrabeth thread shut down and many shot down if they so as much mention that Jack and Liz should be together....looks as though we are being punished for our love of Sparrabeth...

eh, kttc always did have a stick up their ass. serves em right that they have no one left now but willobethers. i'm not bothering with a petition because sparrabethers are very, very welcome here and should stay here where its friendly and cozy and people can be reasonable. 😉 i've gotten banned over there i think 3 times on different profiles, and you all know what an angel i am.... 😉 it's like i always say (hehehe i love that phrase) official movie sites are way too monitored for my taste.

so whats up with these charts? I'm always excited about fake sparrabeth ploys, but it looks like photobucket is doing site maintenance. are these the charts used in the films?

Yeah, the charts are the ones from Sao Feng, the faces of Jack & Lizzie are just art detailed on the sides/rims of the parchment.

I have no idea where to find the petition..i guess over at Tasty Pirates..but I just thought it was interesting..I'm not sure a petition to get keira to do a fourth movie is really feasible...
I'm confident that Disney would want her back...but the question is...would she....I think she would if they told her there was a twist to what we thought was going on in the after-credit scene.....I think she's had enough of Willabeth herself...
