That would be awesome, especially when the writers of your favorite fandom wrecked the story at one point or another.

do you guys remember the ol' days, when Willabeth was still cute and sweet? you know, before DMC and after CotBP?
i still think it's kinda sweet... (willabeth) but, it's not the same as sparrabeth... sparrabeth has.. this.. chemistry.. and it's not the same with willabeth... sparrabeth is way more appealing for me.
if those messages in DMC was never shown, I would be a willabether now. but they showed it nevertheless, and then abandon it fully in that.. wretched.. AWE! (although, i'll give em credit for those awesome fight scenes, CGI, and multiple Jacks)
EXACTLY!!! When she said "he's a pirate" I was like "NO HE'S NOT! But it's ok...u two aren't too bad together."
If DMC never existed I would be okay now...I wouldn't be a willabether but I'd be ok. DMC slayed me and I'll NEVER be the same again.
LOL!! Something interesting...I was reading a local newspaper today and there's this column I always read (the only one I read actually)
Anyways the dude is talking about famous couples right?? Here's what he says.
"...my wife and I have started calling ourselves Frenny! Why? Its pop culture baby. If Tom and Katy can be TomKat and Brad and Angelina can be Brangelina why can't Jenny and Fred be Frenny??
I think it started with Jomeio (Juliet and Romeo). Damn Shakspear!
And as any internet addict who likes to go on forums knows this horrible curse has stepped beyond the realm of humans and has taken over fiction as well. The likes of Sparrabeth (Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann) and (I really can't remember this one peeps sorry lol) are not to be forgotten."
OMG! I mean I cut it out and taped it to my wall. And I read it a hundred times!! The word Sparrabeth was mentioned in a newspaper for god's sake! Even if it is a newspaper no one except for the teenage population of north dallas reads.
^^^Wow....the newspaper, you say. Interesting.
I know JoanJoan, as much as I don't think Elizabeth deserves Jack I can't help wanting to see them together...because they do deserve each other, they were made for each other.
Tee, I agree with you.....I was a-okay with POTC....I was excited to see POTC2 when I first started hearing about it just to see Johnny/jack. I had already accepted that liz and will were a couple, as boring as they were..but oh well. Then DMC came out and I fell in love with this movie...this couple....I was so sure they were falling in love...I know she killed him...but it's the movies, there are ways around this sort of thing.....I thought AWE was going to be all about forgiveness, self-sacrifices and...I don't even know what I'm trying to say anymore....
I'm just so frustrated......if only t and t could have been some of our glorious writers in fanfiction....I recently was led to this story. I was like OMG the whole time I read it. I started reading it last night at 11:00 PM and stayed up until 4:30 am this morning reading it...it's awesome. It's not fininshed yet...but here's the link. Some of you may have already read it. The entire time I'm reading it, it is one of the few ones where when I read it I could actually see Jack and Elizabeth in my mind.....if only AWE could have been more like this..."So Much To Learn"
well lovethemtigers, i am pretty frustrated because i thought pirates of the caribbean would be an ADULT movie which, unfortunately, turned out to be wrong... now it´s nothing more than a film for 13 year old girls who fancy little cute will. that is really a shame. the writers had so many opportunities with sparrabeth to develope a deep, emotional, hot and mature story but they blew it all away. and jack sparrow lost a lot of his deep character imo in awe, because some things like the little jacks on his shoulders were just ridiculous. i keep remebering the "old" jack who says: "not all treasure is silver and gold mate" or "peas in a pod, darling". this man knew what he was talking about...
Originally posted by Djinn*hackhackcough* excuse me? i DO NOT fancy Will. farthest from it. um, most of us fancy JOHNNY. and it's not a movie for 13-year-old girls. ok....just becasue im 13 doesnt mean that im the only one. if i was 21 i would still love it the same.

Do u think that in some way the fandom that the deleted scenes in COTBP created for Sparrabeth, has do to with the lack of deleted scenes in DMC and AWE? because since it was gonna end Willabeth that they didnt want to, in any way, take away from the trilogys ending?
i dont know i just think that the deleleted Island scenes and the Peas in a Pod scene revealed so much about Jack and Liz's feelings that they felt they may have pushed their relationship further than they anticipated! but then whats the excuse for all their chemistry in DMC?
I'm sorry im just thinking out loud!! I just really feel that the Jack/Liz deleted scenes in COTBP have contributed in the lack of deleted scenes in the DMC and AWE DVD's!!! *sigh*

DIVA!!! 😄 😄😄 Good to see you, hun!!!
I agree completely.
The deleted scenes in cotbp were brilliant...they showed BOTH characters opening up to eachother...at the end of the day, it was the 15th/16 century, right?
Its HIGHLY unlikely that women of elizabeths status would even consider talking to a man about ANYTHING...never mind singing songs around a campfire...
You can bet your bottom dollar that she never told will anything...i dont even think she would have taught him the song!!!
HeY T....good to see ya too!!! 🙂
yes im sure Liz never told Will about there Hott moments together!!! If she was so in Love with Will then why hide Jack unless Jack really meant something to her then of course talking about Jack to Will would make her extremely uncomfortable!!!
ugh and i still cant get over Liz telling Will he cant trust her, yet they still end up together!!!!! UGH!!!! 😠
True, true diva 🙂
My parents ALWAYS told me that if you dont have trust in a relationship, then you have nothing....HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...
I think the writers just put it in there for angst.
We NEVER see liz trying to win Will round...HE asks HER to marry HIM...she doesnt even approach the subject...
I blame it on the willabether's...they held TnT hostage until they gave in and made it into a willabeth ending lol
yes, in AWE...I miss the old Jack, the Jack we had grown to love and admire...we don't see him until the very end...when he says "keep telling yourself that darling"....now, that's the Jack we know and love...
no great lines like that....
"she's only a ship, mate"
"we're not free yet, love"
"As i said Persuade me"
"it points to the thing you want most in this world"
"ah, where's Dear William?"
"one word, love, curiosity"
"my intuitive sense of the female creature informs me that you are troubled"
"you know, lizzy, i am Captain of a Ship and being Captain of a ship, I could in fact, perform a marr-i-age, right here, right on this deck, right now"
"why not, we are very much alike, you and I, I, You"
"i love those moments, I like to wave at them as they pass by"
"elizabeth, it would have never worked out between us, darling, I'm sorry"
"Pirate"
"might I inquire as to how you came by these"
"William strikes a deal for these and upholds them with honor, yet you are the one standing here with the prize"
"you know, these clothes do not flatter you a'tall, it should be a dress or nothing, I happen to have no dress in my cabin"
"sticks and stones, love, I saved your life, you save mine, we're square"
"I love this song"
"when I get the Pearl back, I'll teach it to the entire crew, and we'll sing it all the time"
"not just the Spanish Main, love, the entire ocean, the entire world"
"To the Black Pearl, to freedom"
"that's what the Black Pearl is, you know, it's not just a ship with with a haul, .....but what the Black Pearl really is, is Freedom"
"No, no, stop, not good"
"But why is the rum gone"
"They'll be no living with her now"
"it must have been awful for you Jack stranded on this Island, Well it Bloody is now"
"Will, nice hat"
What happen to that Jack.....I guess he was lost in DAvy's Locker...but why did they have to make him so weird....the multiple Jack's was a little bizarre....I didn't really enjoy it....I've only seen it once, maybe I'll find more to like about Jack once I see it again...when DVD comes out...
I do like the Parlay scene when he says "listen to the Tool"..that was classic Jack....
OMG....Gawd....this is so funny....you girls must read this..it's Sooo Jack...it's chapter 67 of "So Much To Learn"...it will have you in stitches...the first part...but read the warning..it's rated M for Mature Audiences.....so "ye be warned"......
I'd read that story before...it's priceless.
Ah yes! The good ol' captain Jack! I was really disappointed that he only said 'savvy' once in the entire film. He didn't say 'oh' or 'bugger' like he used to. He was still rather witty...like that scene on the pearl when he sends Will off to Beckett. yes he was witty but a bit crazy...
I have no problem with crazy...he was a bit crazy to begin with and as some critics said 'Depp's preformance was the only thing that kept the movie floating' but I do miss the classic Jack.
I didn't have a problem with the multiple Jacks but I do wish they'd toned it down a bit and made it intelectual by showing the different sides of Jack instead of making it 'funny'
He did leave his craziness in the brig of the Dutchman though...I the fact that the two Jacks stayed in the brig kind of symbolic. Cause from that point on Jack does actually become the old Captain Jack. Everything he does from that point on totally matches with his personality in DMC.
One of the Jack's said: "I'm going to miss him." (or something like that.)
The other: "He is quite charming isn't he?" (or something like that.)
Perhaps meaning that they'll 'miss him' cause he's leaving them behind.
