Jack and Liz have too much pride to tell each other how they feel towards one another. Liz has too much honour to hurt Will, the man she was supposed to marry. Jack showed too much for Liz already in DMC and he didn't want to get hurt again by her. I think he always feels vulnerable whenever she's around him and this vexes that witty, devil-may-care side of Jack.
To me, "What About Now" is an AWE song, with Jack and Liz questioning each other in their minds and hearts about what's really going on between them.
AWE didn't resolve Jack and Liz's unspoken feelings at all. She obviously still has a thing for Jack 'cos she really wanted to kiss Jack even though she knew she was married (and she probably thought that it didn't matter 'cos Will was dead anyway) but Jack still retained his pride as well as helped her retain her honour by not kissing her ('cos somehow he knew she was now really married to Will and he could do all kinds of bad stuff but not betraying Liz's honour).

Will didn't choose to be the CotFD. He was in a dilemma as to what to - to save his father and lose Liz by killing DJ or forget about the whole damn thing. I don't think Liz felt guilty about Will's fate. She only felt guilty about having unexplainable feelings for Jack when she's supposed to be in love with Will, her so-called one true love. She already told Will that "it was her burden to bear", meaning that the whole piratey thing was none of his business, actually. Will was not a pirate, he was a blacksmith intent on bringing back his father and marrying his girl. Even in AWE, Will never really changed.
Liz cried like crazy becos' she just felt very sad to see her beloved Will die and that her marriage ended just like that.

He told them not to worry and that she wouldn't do any harm to them. the fire from cannons from Black Pearl reached FD. When DJ saw that so many Beckett's men are dead he killed Mercer. Meanwhile there was a scene with multiple Jacks trying to figure out how to break free.

Why does Gibbs think he is on the Pearl when Jack wakes him up on the docks....theories are that Jack left him on the Pearl, but Barboosa took advantage of a drunk Gibbs and set him off the ship with the Teddy Bear...and took off with the Pearl...
Some have speculated that when Jack slaps Gibbs....Gibbs looks at Jack and has some sort of understanding, he smiles, and nods his head - he knows what Jack must do - Jack and him do the dukes with their fists "take what you can"...then Jack turns around with that look on his face....then he sets sail in a dingy with rum, compass and map....why did Jack steal the map from Barboosa - does Jack really plan to make it to Florida in a dingy??? Jack needs a ship, but I highly doubt he is going after the Pearl at this point. Who has a ship? Elizabeth.....well, these are some Sparrabeth theories over at Sparrabeth.com and Tasty Pirates....some theories say that perhaps Jack's compass is pointing him toward Shipwreck Cove at the very end when he sings "Drink up me hearties, yo-ho"...and that's how the movie ends...then the very next thing that happens at the end of the credits is a little boy singing "a pirate's life for me".....
